What have you done to your MSP today?

That's not bad, I paid about $250 for an MSP T25 that supposedly had 45k miles but it pushes oil as well. Used turbos can be a crapshoot

I'm gonna do some research. In general how much fabricating would take to get a disco put in?

You can use the original water lines if you cut them and then them to make it around the larger compressor housing. Or you can buy new water lines and bend them the way you want

I had a journal bearing 2871 and I just had to bend my OEM lines. Also had to with the 28R

Mishimoto has been giving me s*** about a warranty claim. The BRAND NEW radiator cap that cost me $60 started leaking the second I got it. Right through the sensor body, out the top of the cap around the gauge face. Contacted the seller first, then Mishimoto. Filled out the warranty submission with pictures and even offered a video of it leaking in the comments when I submitted it. They requested more pictures, so I provided them and send the receipt for the purchase as they requested. It was ordered through my girlfriend's PayPal and has her name on the receipt, not mine, but the same address. Explained that I was driving when the part was ordered and asked her to purchase it and never really thought about it being an issue as "the Mishimoto radiator and shroud I have installed are flawless and have never given me any issues" but that I would have her resubmit another claim under her own name or could contact the warranty department via phone with her to confirm her information. Keep in mind this would take another 7 days of emails. I advised them I would do this and whatever necessary, but they'd have a very unhappy customer. They immediately sent me a link to complete the process and pay the $10 shipping charge. I understand companies have to verify all of this information so as not to lose money with false warranty claims, but I went so far as to offer video in addition to the pictures and our address is the same on the receipt.

So, this is still going on. The shipping was paid and I was given a confirmation number of my order and told it would ship out within 24 hours. That was 05/29, went on vacation and returned 06/04 to no cap. Emailed Mishimoto to find out what was going on. Come to find out since my PayPal address doesn't match the email address I used, they cancelled the order without letting me know and even closed the claim as completed. Oh, and also didn't refund the $10 shipping charge. I had to open another claim so that they could ship it. I was provided a tracking number last night and shows that it's on a truck heading this way.

This experience with Mishimoto has been awful.

For a rad cap? I would have just gone to supercheap auto for one heh. I understand wanting to be done right as a customer, but there is a point when your own time and patience investment outweighs the cost of parts and bulls*** heh.

Just a routine oil change using my 4k OCI with Mobil 1 synthetic, OEM filter and treated her to a can of BG 44K fuel system cleaner.

Well, transmission #7 bit the dust last night. Getting and installing another this week. Not going to invest in the transmission reinforcement plate as Blake had it installed with cryo-treated gears and continued to have third gear issues.

Got the okay to look for a replacement daily-driver under $6,000. Probably get a CX-7, though the 09+ 6's nice and I've seen them as low as high-4's with high mileage. Need a larger car to accommodate the girls.

I really do dig these Mazda5 vans.

That's huge

Yeah, I just hope the brake pedal doesn't end up mushy do to the significantly larger piston. I really hate mushy brakes but I hate messing with master cylinders more.

Damn it. I literally bought and installed new pads and rotors three days ago. Kept going back and forth between going MS6 or OE replacement.... Had I had this visual four days ago, there's no doubt I'd have gone MS6.
