What have you done to your MSP today?

I was pretty close to vuying some of those before the rays..
They look good the way they are on black.

565cc injectors are in. If I can drag myself out of bed at 5 in the morning I may get some tuning in before work.
 
drove around in the mountain roads till the fuel light came on and drove it back to town,filled it up w/ 93 non-ethanol for $30.It's $2.55 a gallon here!

It's on the road again. In DD status. The 8's engine went a couple of weeks ago. Had a guy offer me a running engine for $800 the week before this happened and I turned it down. Wish I'd have not done that.
 
Then it wouldn't be a rotary sports.car with obscenely low cg.
Buy a miata.. or an frs.
Weight distrib on rx7/8 pretty perfect heh.
 
I love the 13B and the 8s get a worse rap than our MSPs! Properly maintained from new the motors can top 100k but it's a crap shoot. An FD on the other hand I would own regardless

I was thinking about plastidipping them anthracite grey. What u think?

I like the silver, a light gloss/hyper black finish would look good too. Not sure I'd go plasti-dip, often times the finish comes out too flat for my liking.

If you want to keep your car nice, stay away from plastidip and rattle can jobs... you could paint those pearl white though. Would look sharp. Dark colors would ve too drab. Or you could paint them an actual color as well. Or just leave them alone.. the flashier it is, the higher likely hood of theft/vandalism.
 
Sup guys.. its been crazy at work and I haven't been on much.. but here's what I've done since I've updated last:

I got a P5 windshield wiper switch with the better intermittent settings.. also some daveb rings



I got "relocation brackets" off Cresencio... and 20mm energy suspension brackets/bushings.. Also replaced the end links.. Clunk is GONE.



I got a new shifter boot off ebay. Real leather and matching yellow thread. Haven't installed yet..



And I got a really nice all black steering wheel (its in the mail now)




Really stoked about all that stuff..

Also, I bought up a lot of fiberglassing supplies so I can start building / molding parts.. I will be making various parts out of Carbon Fiber, using a proper infusion method.. Thats as much as i will say about the CF right now, but since I have the fiberglass stuff, I starting making fog light area molds so I can fix my front lip

(molding these off the lip I bought that is broken)



 
Hell yeah, you should make a mold of the whole lip and pop out a few fiberglass reproductions for ~$200 or so a piece. If you need the wiper switch for the RX8/MZ6 that doesn't have the rear wiper switch for the sedan Protege there are tons of them at the JY here, I can snag you one.

Honestly I did consider it.. But like Valk said.. I'm not sure its worth it. IDK.. If I do a mold / repro bumper.. I really wanna try filling the gaps and making it all 1 piece. But I'm not sure I am gonna end up doing it. We'll see. Getting a proper hood and trunk mold with proper tooling gelcoat and big flanges for doing vacuum infusions is MUCH higher on my list.

I'm doing R&D on making our intercooler pipes out of CF. I've never seen a MSP with CF pipes.. (way less heat conductivity) I need to make "blanks" though. Which is why I bought the MIG 130.. I think I might make the blanks out of Stainless and then use those to produce the CF pipes. The process is challenging. I have some ideas.. but I'm not sharing them just yet. ;)
