For the ZE mani? It uses VICS just like the stocker.

It's no 505zoom mani, but I got it for free and it's better than my stock mani with vtcs removed.

My damn daily driver msp started leaking vacuum (worse than normal) today. EBC is reading about 1psi lower than it should at idle(greddy Profec EBCs read boost and vac in PSI instead of in/hg) but my boost gauge is still reading about 22in/hg (it may be off, the needle doesn't sit exactly at 0 when the car is off). It threw a P0171 so I know something is up.

sorry, you are correct. though i wonder how the resonance chamber works then. on k series it is actuated at different rpm ranges. after quick research it seems it is the ZM that has VRIS. the 1.6 protege's could be an interesting prospect for an na build ha. I remember my little 1.8 k8 was pretty snappy.

Harper's Cars and Coffee here in Knoxville is the states largest C&C event and I decided I'd actually attend this months. I've talked two other spicy's into coming, so they'll be three of us together. One of the spicy owners also has a laser blue. I want him to bring both, but he wants to bring his RX7, too. Between now and Sunday morning I need to finish the hood, clay the car, reinstall my under engine covers and do a thorough interior cleaning so mine will be ready.

One of my favorite parts of my car, the sweet smell of premium through a catless exhaust. Wish I could run race gas, yumm.

Getting #1574 titled, registered and insured today if everything at the DMV goes well

#1345 is ready to be retired from daily driving as repairs are starting to pile up. Needs F/R sway bushings, need to locate the vacuum leak, need to fix the AC leak and recharge the AC, ideally would like to find some rear springs to drop it about 1/4", need to fix the oil leak from the turbo and oil pans (needs a new turbo, original has almost 170k) and eventually the trans needs new synchros in 1st and 2nd so need to save up for a tranny rebuild (won't need it for a while) and a forged block (stock block still working great but who doesn't want to run more boost??).



And we have a MASSIVE Cars n Coffee here in Austin as well I will be going to this Sunday (seriously massive, there is a Jalopnik article about it, over 900 cars that month), was supposed to attend a Bullitt shootout and take the Mustang to the drag strip again (to try to beat my best 12 sec run last year) but it was postponed due to rain.

Went to get insurance quote for the two speeds from a friend. She couldn't get me anything better than 120.00 a peice. Pay 90.00 a month for the one right now full coverage plus all Bolt ons insured.

Full coverage for $90 pretty good. I pay $75ish cdn for base with 5mil. I don't see a point in insuring the parts or for damage though. All your doing is prefinancing repairs you might never need.
Of course I have driven in florida... a Lot of those people should never be allowed to drive a vehicle lol. Takes like 3 years and many exams to get licence here.

Wow, I paid $150 for comprehensive on the 8 and the MSP and now pay $120 for comprehensive on the 8 and limited liability on the MSP.

For the MSP (Limited), the 8 (comp) and the Accord (comp) its $181. I'm 30 and have one of the worst driving records known to man.. According to three different KPD officers...
