What have you done to your MSP today?

Sorry bro, needs more personal style on the appearance in my opinion.

That's because I'm not into the appearance mods.. Like, at all. The only reason I had the 03.5 wing and lip was because I literally had $50 invested in both including paint work. Otherwise, I just want go-fast parts, but I get it.

Which is another reason I voted for mark. His car is pretty rediculous for go fast mods. Appearance a total afterthought ha.

But if you run again ill vote for you!

boost leak, bad plugs, plugs not gaped properly, this list could go on of things you should check
Plugs are 2 years old and gaped properly. When I tear everything down started Wednesday I'll check the stock pipes and see if there are any cracks. I will say the stock pipes don't fit very well with the SMIC, so there could be leakage around where the pipes connect. Was looking into the Corksport silicone intercooler pipes since they aren't too expensive as they would likely seal at the IC better. That or I could build my own IC pipes, relocate the MAF, and be done with it.

I go through plugs quick. Even in my P5, I'd replace them every 20k miles. Might want to actually remove one of the plugs and inspect.

I'll check them when I start all the work on Wednesday. Went ahead and bought the CS pipes because it can't hurt. If it doesn't fix the problem I can return them or sell them on here or just keep them because OEM plastic sux.

I have three sets of intercooler piping including the corksport ones I'll be putting up for sale soon. I just have to take pictures, and figure out a price range.

Well, it's my AWR pan that's leaking.....

I'm trying to decide whether to drop it and do it from the inside (yes, that's how I should do it) or just lay a bead on the outside and hope I don't have to chase pinhole after pinhole as I go........

You see what's interesting is that both oil and fuel will exploit any pinhole. What can you possibly use to coat the inside that's resistant to heat, oil and will not end up coating the inside of your engine.

I just realized... I can't weld it from the inside without disassembling the entire pan... that's not happening.... I'll just clean it up on the outside... I looked on AWRs site and doesn't say how thick the material is and what type of material. That dictates how much of a pain in the ads this is going to be.... FML

Preferio if anything I will be air testing it for pinholes prior to installing it. I really don't want to be in your shoes

I've not had an issue with this one in the past couple of years. It coincidentally started leaking while my friend had the car in her possession, but has gotten worse over the past couple of weeks. I went through 2 quarts of oil over the weekend. Going to remove the pan Saturday morning and take it to my buddy to weld it for me. The bead of RTV I laid on the oil pan/windage tray is so pretty and shows no signs of leaking... I don't want to disassembled it again. :( Oh, well! Here's to another weekend of working on the MSP. Good thing I love working on cars.

Last night, besides diagnosing the oil spill, I finished installing the front bumper cover. Still need to reinstall my left, front inner fender liner. The bumper mates up nicely and doesn't have excessive gap.

Weekend To-Do List:
-Repair oil pan.
-Remove and paint the SteedSpeed.
-Finish the carbon fiber hood.
-Get a good, solid tune.

I'm pretty sure the AWR pans leak because they aren't fully welded at the flange. Thought there were some members who found that out. Should be an easy fix for you though. Fix it before you blow your engine again :p
