What have you done to your MSP today?

Regular protege owners can run a 626 header if that answers your question. The exhaust piping after the header though is likely very different, I will have to look at the next 626 I see.
 
After some research and finding a couple other Proteges with the exact same problem as mine I am convinced the 3-4 shift fork somehow broke or came loose. I have to pull the trans out but I just don't have the time
 
Kinda puts me in a situation, I will go ahead and order all new synchros and rebuild it even though I can just repair or replace the shift fork and throw it back in and it would be fine. Even though it is easy compared to other cars I don't want to pull the trans.
 
Car is being towed to a local trans shop, don't have time to rebuild it in my garage between school and work plus I don't have all the tools I had when I worked for Mazda (or lift access). Gonna get the 3-4 shift fork replaced and all the synchros. Probably have them install a reverse lockout as well, mine broke last year and I didn't replace it when I pulled the trans and replaced the LSD.

I also found a large puddle of water in the driver's side of the trunk, it rained hard the past couple days and the car was outside. I hope I can fix it with some seam sealer.

The leak is most likely around the tail lights
 
Yes I am aware of the seam behind the tail light. It has been leaking since I bought the car in 2010 it just doesn't rain very often and the car is normally kept out of the weather so I forgot about it. It may have been in a small collision before I bought it, I know I haven't been hit in the rear in this car. I haven't really looked for where the leak is coming from yet
 
Ok cool, exact same one I have then. I want one with silver stitching, I saw one in a lava orange MSM after I bought mine out of a red MSM.
 
To any of the people that live in states with front plates, I was thinking about moving mine today. Where do you guys put it and how did you mount it there?

Drilled out broken bolt on exhaust manifold. Retapped, installed heat shield. Would like to install luvers engine bay gets extremely hot.
 
Are you wrapping your car? If so, got any pics?
I'm thinking about wrapping as well once I actually start on repairing body rust

I only have pics on my phone. I'll try to take one this weekend when I get some more of her done.
