What have you done to your MSP today?

Does anyone know where I can get a new set of pullys that aren't to expensive ? My belts are squealing really loud and they are fearly new and don't need them to snap off again ...

you may want to check to see if anything is touching one of the belts. i had the same symptoms, i broke 2 belts in 1 month so i figured something was wrong so i checked and the tensioner bolt for the timing belt was coming lose and pressing the timing belt cover into the belt. i tightened it down and havent had an issue since.

The squealing is more than likely due to improper belt tension. Was there any signs of unusual wear on the belts that you replaced?

I put on new belts and they are cheap ones 2 years ago, Squealed like crazy until I tensioned the crap out of them. Luckily I was able to use my father in law's tension measuring tool and i was WAYYYY to loose.

So my best bet is to get some new belts , the ones on there are just from autozone so they are prob crap ... Any suggestion on decent belts ?

Amazon.com. I got both Bando belts from them for $19.99 shipped. FYI Bando is what came on the from the factory.

2006 mazdaspeed 6 sport in velocity red mica. Has 94k miles. Cpe long dp, Corksport exhaust, turbo inlet pipe of some sort, turbo cd bov, cobb accessport, hid headlights with halos and fogs, led tails, gen pu speed three wheels with new tires, tokikco blues with road magnet springs, led interior lights.....will have fmic and cobb intake soon. Paid $9000 for it.

it was cracked pretty bad, but i just kept driving anyway... needless to say, it split even more.
