What have you done to your MSP today?

^The headlights look crazy different when next to eachother. Just makes me want to retro fit mine even more.

yeah i love the retros... so worth it. i still don't have the halos hooked up tho cause my fog light switch is M.I.A

Great looking cars, man.

I actually prefer the non-retro headlight... also, would love to see the MX5 wheels on the titanium.

thought about that too, but i couldn't justify puttting those fugly rotas on my silver MSP. i'd like to pick up a cheap set of something to swap them w/ but don't want to drop too much more $ on the titanium (as it will ultimately be sold, and i'll be using some of that $ to put towards the build)

Yeah, here too. Also, being the fastest FWD at the auto-x is always nice. Those STS Civics, and CRXs used to get me, but not after I got the coilovers.

That may be the case in STS, but SMF is a different story. I have a little motor work I have to do to create alittle more power. I'm not too far behind though on stock internals and stock boost. I lost to the 2007 national winner civic hatch only by 1.51 seconds. Can't wait until next year to compete at a couple national events.

I don't know about autocross, but 1.51 seconds in any other type of racing is a huge difference and I can't imagine that in autocross the average speeds are fairly low, thus making that 1.51 seconds an even bigger gap.

My car is truely a DSP car, I just run SM to embarass those guys, since no one runs DSP around here. If I keep it, I'm going full SMF build. Stripped, caged, etc.

Depends on the course layout. If it is a tight smaller course the margin is a lot smaller or in my favor, but the events that are at our airport are close to and sometimes a little more than a mile long and have straights where you can be doing 80mph which is pretty fast for a cone course.

Really you can only remove the back seat and have to keep the interior panels, and the added weight of the cage just brings it back up. I can't see getting a cage when my car already skips aroung and throws the ass end around. I'm going with lightening the car up as much as possible, 12lbs of boost on a built motor, as at least 245's in the front.

Cage is for mountains. (boom01)

When are you planning on having your car back on the road? Winter time is when I live on the Dragon because I don't have to deal with bikes or dumbasses. I'll stay up there for 3-4 hours at a time, hit the parkway, come out in Walden, and take White School Rd. out to the back roads of Pigeon Forge/Sevierville and make my way back home down Chapman Highway. In short, we should hit all the curvey roads in the area some time. That's assuming I ever receive my pistons.

I had a scare this past week in the MSP, I was pulling out of work onto a busy access road and heard a loud POP as I was shifting into second and the car didn't feel right! I pulled back into the shop at work and put in on the lift thinking I popped my differential. Couldn't see anything wrong so I tested the diff and both tires were spinning. Looked around and found I blew the IC pipe right off the turbo. Luckily it was an easy and free fix! On a side note my girlfriend's neighbor scraped the side of my MSP while I was sitting in it! So I have an appt. Monday to have an estimate done, going to see how much extra to paint a wingless trunk lid...
Also ordered a new coolant elbow as I found a pinhole in it.

Otherwise the car has been running amazingly well I need to reward it with some coilovers.

blown fuses... anybody know which fuse is for the keyless remote entry? what about dome lights? and the you-left-your-headlights on annoying chime fuse? i looked @ the box but couldn't figure out which was for which

I'll get some soon the car still needs to be washed and detailed. Maybe I'll get 323 to come over again some time this week and take some new shots

I'd like to get some pictures of the stuff I have purchased recently... But I can't because the pistons don't exist because I got scammeD!!!
