I got mine done at a local locksmith and work in the ignition and doors.

Get a locksmith to cut it for you because home depot, Wal-Mart, Lowe's will **** yo s*** up

Get it cut at a mazda dealer, for free.

Water pump bearing somewhat shattered, made weird noises. Just got done with timing belt,water pump, tensioner, idler. Im gonna take a break from driving this vehicle.

& i actually had my current key cut @ home depot... it works better than the OEM one that's all worn down... may go to mazda tho for the flip key

I have one like that and got it cut at lowes I think....the key works fine, just dont care for the cheapness of the flip unit I have but this one looks nicer.

Although, theres no hole for the panic button on this one...

Does anyone know the size of nut that keeps the oil cooler sandwich plate on? I've been swapping all my stuff over to a NA motor and this is the only hold up so far.

you need a deepwell 29mm socket and then 2 29mm nuts to back the stud out

thats what i did a few years back. i sold my lsd trans and picked up a open diff trans w/ 40k on it for super cheap.

I can't find a transmission for less than $350. I had one a few months back I was about to buy for $150, but decided not to... Now I'm kicking myself in the ass for not doing it.
