What have you done to your MSP today?

patched my flat tire, (DZ101).. now in search of all new tires... Ventus V12 evo K110 or Primewell PZ900... 225/50-16 ...hmm

I need new tires too, I was thinking about the yokohama s drive but I heard good things about the evo v12 and they are significantly cheaper. Anybody use either of them?

ya tiresplus priced the primewell pz900 at 334 mounted and balanced and i alrdy have their lifetime alignment. prob go that route only cause i need the extra $$ for the house repairs :(

I had the S-Drives on the MSP and liked them for summer. But here in Oregon we have sub-45 degree mornings more than half the year and the S-Drives don't grab super well when its cold and damp. I have K12 Evo tires on my STI and love them. I believe they provide the best wet & dry grip available for the money, but if you drive them spiritedly don't expect to get 20,000 miles out of them. They do wear faster. But if you watch for sales you can pick them up for $100 a piece or less (sometimes with rebate checks from Hankook), depending on size. I think having that kind of grip for that cheap is worth having to replace them a little sooner.

ya tire rack has the sized i want for under 90 plus a $80 rebate.. ive had the DZ101 on my car for two year.. technically driven for only like 10 months cause the car has been broken alot lol... but they are dry rotting and do have roll wear from autox ing ;)... dont see this year as a heavy autox year and like i said the house is getting alot of my money so TiresPlus is going to do the Primewll for 334 install and removal of old tires and balance and had warranty.

I work for Town Fair Tire. I just gotta say sometimes, you can get better deals other places and online, but you get what you pay for. Just do some research and compare services. Flat repairs, damage, out of round, anything really. Were corporate. We have additional warranties, services, guarantees and ass kissing. HAHAHA Tires a tire. But in our case its nice being able to say "why didnt this 60k mile tire last? I want a new one!" and get it, with an ass kiss and alignment thrown in.

Im personally going to purchase front blizzaks in the winter WITHOUT my employee discount so I can receive the warranty. My car came with BALD 1 season old Blizzaks. So if thats what snowy tire spin does after 1 season, Ill pay extra for, "Why didnt this 50k mile tire last? I want a new one" hahahah

do not get the primewell's. Had them on my car they are horrible grip, and terrible wear. My friend had them on his car and had the same issue with them i wouldn't waste my time. i have the hankook v4's on my car now and they are so much better than those primewell's.

finally someone with advice about the Primewells lol. no one has spoken up and there isnt too much info out there about it. tires are kinda put off right now aany ways.. just got some bad news at work that our company lost its contract and we have 90-120 days left on it... sooo idk :/

yeah i never said they were good tires, lol. i work at firestone, and i still ordered kumho ecsta's from discount tire direct, for the price they're decent.

Yup, my buddy did the same, even with employee discount it ended up being cheaper for him cuz of free valves, mounting, and balance. LMFAO

I cant speak of Primewell's cuz TFT doesnt carry them. But Im sure its like any other manufacturer, Theres different series and levels of quality. You may have gotten a lower level of Primewell, unknowingly. Lets be frank, salesman's job is to sell you a polished turd and leave you thinking you got the best deal on a diamond... Not to mention were talking about Primewell's. Not Michelin, or Toyo. You get what you pay for. LOL And with our cars. I dont know I havent had it long enough to judge tire wear. But Civics usually come in with 3 tires decent tread and all 4 camber worn. I had just the rears with decent tread, BOTH fronts were bald cuz of LSD and slight camber wear on the snow tires.

We lost another MSP guy today. My buddy Casey got a 03.5 Titanium MSP, from Savannah, GA thats gonna be parted out and for sale soon. We met in UTI Orlando and his MSP made me ddddrrroool. Unfortunately he switched up to a 350Z, But lucky for me, Ill be getting his SS-AFC.

"This time my car is not for racing strictly cruising. Lol. Blue was my first choice but I fell in love with this color after seeing it in person. The ssafc is officially for sale! So is the ghl turbo-back exhaust, front-mount intercooler, intake, greddy boost controller and turbo timer, also I have a blitz turbo timer. My manifold for protege is ported out with the vts/vtcs removed, pretty much everything on the protege is for sale. The tranny even has the updated tig welded LSD. Also S-U motor mounts.
