the knocking sound was coming from the transmission though, I think. It happened every time I shifted into 2nd gear. But for some reason, it didn't happen today.

How long have you had that? There was one on eBay last year when I was in the market that was in Philadelphia and it had those wheels on it and was black. Not having the factory wheels, it being a northern car, and having to drive 600 miles to buy a car sight unseen turned me off from it. It was a relatively good deal though.

That's a new one... I've gotten both- STI and the Evo, but whoever mistook it for an IS300 is a moron.

That's what i've always called it as well.
My car was called a Mitsubishi the other day. The same day I had the hood popped and this guy was going on about how "these rotaries don't like boost". People are so stupid. Have you ever SEEN an EVO (or a 13b)? They are gaudy and ugly compared to the MSP.
I tinted my side markers yesterday, I didn't want them that dark but I can just get another pair at the junkyard and try again.

Lol in all honesty anyone who mistakes it for a EVO or STI are also not that bright. They dont look anything like either one of them.

But if you don't know anything about cars, I could see it happening for the simple fact that myself and three other people I personally know have had it called either of those. Hell, I gave a customer a ride home one day and he said, "I thought about getting a WRX, how do you like this one"... My facebook name is "Chris Itsnotawrxoranevo Courtney" because since I've had my car, it's been called either of those about 7 or 8 times now.

So, last year when I was in the market for an MSP, I really, really wanted a laser blue- that was the color of my P5 and my favorite MSP color. The only one I could find at the time was actually local, but they wanted $14k for it. It eventually sold, but for how much I'm unsure. I've passed the guy a few times who I think bought it in the area of that dealership. Now, it seems he's selling it for $8,500.

Tell them your TCS is messed up and limits all power to the rear. At least people know it's not a Neon or a Cobalt!
