Big spacer. What does a 20mm spacer make the offset?
About offset I don't know, I just read some threads about getting spacers on racing harts, and I get them, I think is 35 offset, I'm not sure about it
Ive been searching around to add Spacers to my RX-8s and i dont seem to find out what exactly measurents i need. I want to make my front and Rear Wheels flush to my fenders. I dont know if i need spacers with built in Studs, or simply bigger studs and just spacers.. Anybody here have an idea what measurements will i need for the front ? and also for the Back ? Thanks.
Found my stock axle back is cracked where the pipe welds to the muffler, anyone else ever have problems with the stock Racing Beat axle back cracking? Time for a new cat back and axle back.
From my research a 17x7 is flush with the fender at +35 offset, the stock RHs are +55 and I believe the RX8 18s are as well. With a 7" rim a 20mm spacer will be flush but if the RX8s are 8" wide then the specs may be different. Anything larger than 8mm requires extended studs or spacers with built in studs, the spacers must be hub-centric and they must have at least a 67.1mm hub bore.

Haven't done anything but shop for parts on my MSP, I want an sti lip, HIDs and install my headlight overlays, peel off the door vinyl, 15mm front 8mm rear wheel spacers and coilovers/lowering springs.
The car has been running amazing, I outran an 8th gen Civic SI coupe with HID's from a dig last night. Had him by 2.5 car lengths by about 60mph.
I don't like the sound of the HKS, I like the Corksport but not many others. I am happy with the way the car sounds now but I suppose I will upgrade if it needs to be replaced. No problems with my RB as I took it off at 26K. About to put it back on as the muffler in my GreddySP2 system has an inner pipe broken off that rattles and drives me nuts.
Given that I had to put on a new flex pipe to replace the cracked one on my downpipe and now this, I wish I would have simply went custom with either a Greddy or HKS Hi Power muffler. Spent way too much going the bolt on route.
Something like this imo is money well spent, less than most bolt on systems and most likely better performing. I had something like that on my F2T and it was outstanding and cost effective.

Apparently the RX8s are +50 offset so I would get 15mm spacers with studs all around to sit flush. What do you recommend me to run upfront and so for the back ? how thick for the front and how thick for the back.. Thanks in advance..

that's funny - i have a custom setup, 3" downpipe ending with a 3" HKS and i think it sounds amazing. BY FAR better than the other MSPs around me i've seen who have Corksport...
Mine has a deep/mean growl to it, while the Corksport FMIC/exhaust guys sounded a lot much more whiney/higher pitched (honda civic-esque)
