What have you done to your MSP today?

Lol I used to drive about 82 miles a day for work. 5 days a week. Then about 160 miles a weekend to see my GF. Not to mention all the driving I did else where. Now I'm 5 miles from work. Much nicer

I'd love to live only 5 miles away from work. I currently drive about 55-60ish every day for work

still under 70k, but my car hasn't moved since december :( I used to work 1.8 miles from where I live but I got a better job and it's 4 miles away. The 4 mile per day difference is justified by the 4.16/hour pay difference. Plus the people here are awesome unlike the last place.

Just listed her on CL for trade. We'll see what kind of ridiculous offers I get.

Craigslist is filled with asshats. I've sold lots of stuff on there, but in the past few months it has come down to just scammers and lowballers. I listed a netbook for $170 expecting to get about $150 for it because they sell on ebay for $150-$200.. and some asshole offers me $100. Also listed a tool box for my dad that goes in the back of a pickup. Brand new they are $475, I listed it for $275 and it's in great condition. Got an offer for $100... I ignored him to keep from cursing him out, and he sent me another email a couple days later asking if I would take it LOL. Idiots..

Lol yes those dangerous soda cans

Anyone know of a good place to get like 10mm spacers for cheap? And I'm guessing I'm gonna need longer studs. Any help with those?

I believe up to 8mm you don't need longer studs. I read with a 17x7 wheel +35 offset is flush and the RHs are +55. I would like to run a 15 or 20mm spacer soon and instead of extended lugs find some that have new studs built in.

Painted some stuff under the hood titanium today (see if you can spot what I did) and also the Protege emblem I got at the junkyard. Now all my rear emblems are color-matched. Next I will get a front emblem off a P5 and probably do it Titanium as well, possibly black though. Also am ordering a Signature Products coolant overflow tank because they look so cool, going to get an oil catch can and PS reservoir from him as well in the future.
So far in the mail to me is the Mishimoto radiator, 2 12" frozenboost slim fans, 1 straight and 1 45* 2.5 black couplers to redo hot pipe for more clearance, new straight water neck kit and silicone hose from SC and the Coolant overflow will be on the way soon. Already found radiator brackets in a junkyard here in town and painted them.

I just installed 20mm hub centric spacers in the fronts with racing harts, spacers came with extended studs, I have a little rub, I will post pictures tomorrow.

@hornsfan - I see a painted battery hold down, power steering cap and fuse box. Did you use Duplicolor Color Match?
Yep that's exactly what I used, it's a Ford color medium charcoal metallic. I did the tie down, Fuse box upper and lower covers, fuse box bracket, PS res. cap and the cap that goes on the FPR. I also painted a Millennia S PCV I had but didn't install it yet.

I think its actually called Perfect Match. I've used it on a few cars that I worked on. It turned out surprising well when cleared.
You went crazy painting, but it all looks good. I missed the top of the FPR. Ever thought about polishing your heatshield. If you have a rotary buffer hit it up with some compound and then wax and it will gleam. Some stainless steel allen head bolts to replace the factory bolts are nice too.

To be fair, I'm shopping for one of those boxes now for my beater, and there are several of them (diamond plate, decent quality) for $100...

Thanks, I have polished the heat shield by hand but not with a buffer to try to get a mirror finish so I may try that out. I like the way they look powder coated so I could paint it with wrinkle finish high temp paint. I painted a lot of the bare metal brackets and stuff gloss black over a year ago and since it held up well and I found a color that closely matches Titanium I have gone a little crazy. Just got a chrome front emblem off a P5 to paint probably the same color, then I will paint the cupholder surround since it is scratched up and either the LX/DX radio surround I have or the stock radio surround.
