What have you done to your MSP today?

For anyone whose changed cams:

I had to remove the cams to take the head off and the shop manual says to align the exhaust cam a certain way (basically the pin on the cam gear points up. that parts easy but it doesnt say anything for the intake cam. The picture of how to install the gears shows both pins pointing up. So thats what i did. is that correct for the intake cam? I jsut want to make sure before i put the cover back on.

Go to 3:18 and put that b**** in just like that making sure the lobes point the same way. There's only 2 ways the the cams can go in and sit flush.

Actually stalked the car but it looked like a lady who might not be down with being stalked so I was just gonna leave a note on the windshield, but i had no pen.

Wth stalker lol. Today I changed my transmission fluid, the egr valve, rear strut mounts and front left strut mount. Its still making a squeeky noise if I push on the front left of the car and iit seems to be coming from the new strut mount.. the old destroyed one did that too so that's very annoying. I need to get coilovers :(

And as soon as I get my 505zoom mani installed ill go on the dyno, can't wait to see what I'm putting down.

Anyone know of the location of the fog light connector for the driver side? i wanna put my bumper back on, but i couldn't find the connector

Well the harness that connects directly to the fogs meets the car wiring on the passenger side. It should be somewhere near the washer fluid reservoir. If you are talking about the connector that plugs directly into the light, then it should be hanging right by the light? lol I'm a little confused by what you're asking.

My front suspension has made this deafening squeak in the winter time ever since I bought it. I'm pretty sure it is the strut mounts or something close to that, because I only hear it when going over speed bumps and such. People try to tell me it's the sway bar bushings but there is no way they could make a noise this loud lol.

edit: yea I know how to use the multi quote button I'm just tired I guess...

Are you saying there is only one harness connector for both the fogs?

Well technically there is a partial harness that you can disconnect from the car so it will come off with the bumper, so that would be 1 connector. But it is most likely attached to the frame with clips so I would just disconnect the plugs at each light.

Mine did the same. I remember narrowing it down by whether it made the sound when both wheels moved or just one. but I don't recall details.

Yea I'm not really worried about it, because I've had the car for over 3 years and it's still rolling (for now) lol. Plus I am looking to sell it in the very near future.

Yeah, I didn't do anything to fix it either. figured it was a cold rubber problem and let the lack of cold fix it. lol

Is it spring yet?
