What have you done to your MSP today?

Well my clutch was on the way out so obviously it was a significant improvement for me. The combo is just really smooth shifting, especially with shifter bushings and solid motor mounts. I can assure you that the flywheel really does make a difference. You won't be disappointed.

my clutch is shot... like I cant drive it shot.. well its the clutch or the presure plate.. oone of the two but both have aroudn 115k on them. So time for a upgrade to say the least. Does it seem more peppy? rev a hell of a lot faster.. how did it change the feel of the car under power? ect ect.. lol

Does it seem more peppy? YES rev a hell of a lot faster.. HELL YES how did it change the feel of the car under power? It catches strong and pulls the car foward if I shift quickly. Almost like there isn't any loss in power while you shift, if very little (if you know what I mean).

My only downfall is when your coming to a stop or throwing it in neutral while the revs are above 3k. The idle will fall straight to 0 and the car will want to turn off or will. I'm also running VTA so that doesn't help either. It's pretty hard to drive my car if your not used to it haha.

Once you install them you'll never wanna go back, it's addictive.

Thanks thats exactly what Im looking for... I think your stalling issues might be more related to yoru VTA honestly.

^^ really? I would think that most of that would be from the VTA, I would think you have a relocated MAF but if you don't, then there you go, but my brother has a bunch of stuff on his msp, including a Spec stage 2 clutch and lightened flywheel, think that is from Spec too, because they replaced them both at the same time from Spec, but anyways I definitely notice faster and higher revs, and much much smoother acceleration, but I was not too sure if that had partly to do with the flywheel or the big upgraded cams, but either way the car doesn't come close to dieing after fast shifts or anything.

could just depend on how your BOV and MAF set up is configured, if they are close to the MAF and TB that might cause it to die a little quicker, my BOV is on the hot pipe and MAF is about 8-10" from the TB about, and my brother's is similar but the BOV is about 12" from the MAF on the cold pipe.. and they both run fine.. so I don't know, I just can't wait till I can upgrade my clutch and flywheel, but I hope my clutch lasts another year or so, I think I will be replacing the clutch long before it actually dies on me, since I only have 70k miles on it, and don't race/track it

edit: damn I knew I was taking too long to post

So are we saying the lightweight flywheels is worth the moneys?
:)
In unrelated news, I just got a $.34 raise at work lol which brings me to $13.75 so more money for mods/paying it off

A woman backed into me in her PT Cruiser. Right under the right headlight. Damage is minimal, but the bumper is sagging even more now. Any recommendations on what to try and buff it out with?

Her checkbook. Or her insurance company's checkbook.

Meguair's cleaner wax or ultimate compound will take out marks. Either by hand or with a buffer.

Absolutely it is worth the money. IMO it's even better than getting solid motor mounts. But with the combination of motor mounts AND upgraded clutch + flywheel it is amazingggg. My car is begging to be tuned so it can pull like it wants to.

check the plugs and I guess O2 sensor maybe, and the tune, when my brother's msp was really rich with the 440cc injectors in there it was throwing codes like that.. um.. also I guess check for exhaust mani leak or anything like that.. good place to start

I have a vac leak on the intake mani and definitely need a tune, just never saw the second code before. I haven't really been rich with my 440's according to the wideband
