What have you done to your MSP today?

I had one but never installed it. I have heard mixed reviews out the ass on it. One thing I will say it, its the most badass looking wastegate for our car hands down. Its gorgeous. If you get one to work properly, your a lucky man because its super high quality.

my problem is that the stockers adn ATP done last long for me and im tired of replacing them.. my curernt one makes a high pitched whistle noise... fuckign annoying

Transmission dropped. Two new casualties in the cause. The the nuts for two bolts holding the lower engine support (front motor mount connects to it) broke their welds inside the radiator support. Luckily there was enough slack with the rubber mounts that I could move it out of the way to drop the transmission. Might need to have a shop fix them if there's slop when I put everything back together.

Is that the craftsmen 260 something peice set with a black box and about 5 red drawers? If so YES I hate that.. try having them dump otu and you have to chase them down your driveway.. I now have a bunjee cord around it just to prevent that.

I've tinted fog lights using Krylon "stained glass" paint and covered with a few layers of clear and they come out really nice. It seems to be pretty durable so far. No rock chips or discoloration. Just another option for ya...

Added some more coolant to my catch can since the line was loose and leaked some out. I put some wire loom on my fan wires to protect them a little better from the heat. I also used put some lube on some of the moving clutch parts

the yellow film i have on mine is lamix, good quality. Its actually a really thick film, super easy to put on and it comes with a UV protectant spray

Scweet. Plan on order that here soon.

Also finished installing my grounding kit.

This is what I took out...

well I installed my new radiator today, was a piece of cake until I got to the actual mounting of the brackets.. had to bent them around for a while to get them to work, wish the Mishimoto was a little taller and fit with the stock fans but I know it's made mainly for the regular protege I think it said, so oh well

also, for people that have installed these, did they get a little steaming when they first started up their car after installing everything, it went away after I took a little drive up the road, and my fan went on, (I had to order another slim fan, so right now the A/C fan is connected to the radiator fan's wires, I didn't want to screw around with the mounting brackets I had set up, so just switched the wires for now).. also the top connection point to the block from the radiator is dripping a little, I think it just needs to have the coolant dry out and it will kind of seal up again, it was kind of stuck when I first tried to spin it a little

As simon said, weak inconsistent penetration, and I can't tell entirely if its just because it got ground off by the rivets, but from whats left there it looks like it was contaminated too.

the Rivets did work on it man. It hard to tell in the pictures I didnt really have a great light source. As far as contamination there is none its the crappy pic.

put the other trans in the car, put all the little stuff back together, everything is running now. just need to get a new clutch. i rattle canned the engine bay, but some break fluid got on a few spots thats why its not that good...
