What have you done to your MSP today?

figured out what my new found clunk/rattle/bang was in teh back... stupid end link worked iwts way loose. Then realised whoever has the car before me put on the wrong damn end links or never addressed them when lowering it.. I had a buddy cut my end links and weld them so my sway bar isnt facing down any more!!!!

This along stiffened up the rear end dramticly and changed the entire way the car rides even going over normal bumps in the road... the car is much more bouncy so to speak.. not to sure if I like that or not. Haven't had a chance to flog it around yet.

So I'm looking at ECU extension harnesses and I'm in need of some assistance. I looked at the one on Crossover for $225 which has a part # of 30-2980. Then I found one here that has a part # 35-2980. My only guess as to why the big price difference, would be that the latter is for an automatic? But then I looked on Protege Garage and found they have the same picture as my 2nd link, but avast they have no part number. Anybody know which is right? I don't want to buy the cheaper one only to find it doesn't fit.

Dropped my 3 inch dp off at my ceramic guys place Tuesday. Any one have the part # for the Turbo to dp gasket? And maybe the studs and nuts to hold them together? Plan to pick all that stuff pluses new Mani to head and dp to mid pipe gasket, oring and gasket for the return line next week. What gasket are people using to go from there pope dp to the midpipe? 3 inch to 3 inch.

Also picking up some parts from Scratchnsniff this weekend.

s*** man that would be awesome! Can anyone verify this? I'm just a little scared about the part number difference. I wonder if my shop manual could help out..

I've got a set of DP to turbo studs somewhere.... I should find those.

sam verified it to me cause I wanted him to price match it (it was about $5 less) but decided with shipping it was easier to purchase from him since I had him do the wiring

got the hot side hole cut out, now just to get the piping cut to size. Still gotta figure away to get the fans mounted for the rad.

advance auto has fan mounts. they're little plastic pieces that go through one side to the other and clip with another piece. really cheap, work well. or use zip ties.

the fins on the mishimoto are really tiny, I tried the fan mounts.

zip ties worked, thanks for the tip

Well im going to mazda after work to price some stuff so I guess ill just ask how much they want.

I hope your mazda dealership is better than mine. I had the part number and they were like, "huh? Here, point out what part you need from the NA protege shop manual".
0000-88-c19 is the part number and #6 on the sheet

If you can, get mazda to print you out the msp parts booklet thing

Thing was a b**** to get bolted back up unless you have baby hands...

picked up the return line gasket and oring. $6 not bad. the nuts are $3.48 a piece. and the studs are $11 a piece!!!! and the turbo to dp gasket was $21! ridiculous man. dont mind paying for the nuts but the studs are insane. and what would i search on ebay for a turbo-dp gasket?
