Sitting at the local dealership while getting my oil changed - Royal Purple 10w-40 FTW! So funny cause half the service guys came out to see the car since they done see them that often. Lol

Getting washed and vacuumed tomorrow. Winning

Gonna go beat on it a bit on my way to the gym. Hopefully the CEL wont come back.

What's my best bet for rotor/pad combo? I need to really start thinking about replacing them. The maintenance list is growing (in order of needs fixed first):

Exhaust Manifold + Gasket
Tires x4
Front Rotors
Front Pads
Rear Pads
Belts
Gear Oil flush/replace
Radiator Flush/replace

None are critical (well the mani needs replaced sooner than later) but its all sort of hitting at once. Love the car, but FML

I replaced mine with Auto Zone OEM rotors and NAPA "performance" ceramic pads combined with Corksport stainless lines and it was a really great combo. And I auto-Xed them a few times. Very little fade and still grippy when heated up.

I have StopTech SS lines on the car already, I was thinking about kitting out the whole brake system with StopTech, but I'll keep that combo in mind...

In an Andy Sandburg voice:

I got home from work this afternoon,
Found a box on the porch,
Took the box inside the house,
Cut it open and looked inside
And

I JIZZED IN MY PANTS!!!!

air pockets in the system??
well when I was adding more coolant I figure that stuff should just bubble out through the coolant over flow tank right?.. the radiator and hose thing is not stock so I can't really open the cap and run it to add more coolant, the way it's set up just wouldn't work

Go rent a presure tester and presure test the system... Also the T-stat could be going bad. I had one literally on the edge of failing for a week before it finally went. The stupid thing would only over heat when dogging it other then that was perfectly fine even in stop and go traffic.

hmm, ok thanks, and I assume it should be self explanatory as to where I would hook up the pressure test system? and where is the T-stat on these cars anyways? I haven't actually messed with any of that stuff on the car yet, but I guess I'll have to now

T-stat is right at the water neck on the front of the block behind the s pipe.

Anyway, bought and installed some black lug nuts today.

I ordered my parts from ebay. Cheap blank rotors (I painted the center with hi-temp paint to prevent rest), and posi-quiet pads. Less than 150 total.
