What have you done to your MSP today?

wrecked it last night after I test drove an Rx8... looks like as soon as the ins payment comes, I'm buying the 8, huh?

FML.

That sucks

I hope this is an April Fools...

good one if this is the case

Nice one Carl... Do you want me to spill the secret, or you want to play it out for a while?

two thoughts came to mind, 1. you realized wrecking your car would give you more than trade in or 2. you were gazing at some street walkers in drag and hit a light pole

fun+reliability=my setup

nice I was going to do a duel HKS set up, one on my cold pipe and one on my hot pipe, but was told that it even with the relocated MAF that it might vent too much air, and cause some slight stalling issues during shifts.. you have any problems like that? if not then I might go ahead at some time in the future and try that out, hell if anything I will just wait till I get the gt28rs, should be able to push enough air to stop any of that lol

dam, I was hoping wagon was serious :D

the amount of air has nothing to do with it, if you vent air that the MAF already accounted for, your going to have stalling issues

Just finished putting on new pads and rotors. I can't wait for spring to show it's face in NE Ohio, then I can finally to get it out of storage.

got the intake off, just took a saws-all to the egr pipe. screw that bolt. think the next logical step is rear motor mount

no I mean I have the MAF sensor located on the cold pipe, I think it was actually Wagon(and sorry if it wasn't wagon, but I remember someone saying this) that at some point last year was saying that if I vented too much air in the charge pipe, even if it is BEFORE the MAF sensor, then it might not be able to get enough air/pressure back in there sometimes between shifts.. I don't know though, which is why I was asking.. but the air vented would be before the MAF.. in other words, it would NOT be counted by the MAF sensor yet..

Just relocate maf. Problem solved. Dual hks wouldnt be any better though. The hks is slow on our cars is why we get surge with it.
I was close to putting the stock bpv back in to deal with surge but midifying the valve fixed it and is cleaner. The only adverse effect is that my valve stays open under 10 vac now at idle its open. Sometime down the road i might make an airbox for my sri and have the hks vent into it kinda like recirc but not hah. Then at least my idle air will be filtered.

Front mount replaced. the stocker was trashed, wroking on the trans mount...

dont think that was me. so far as I know, as long as you don't vent after the maf, you should be fine.

ya sorry, I wasn't too sure, it was a while back and I remember commenting about it and I just figured since you always had input everywhere it might have been you, but anyways it doesn't matter and for some reason I can't search any of my posts containing bov or duel bov.. so oh well, maybe ill find it sometime

btw kooldino, that video on the thread you posted it hilarious, but pretty good lol

Rear mount isnt bad I just used two extensions and a breaker bar, no need to remove the IM. Unless its for a different reaaon.
