What have you done to your MSP today?

mine aint any faster. but i was sayin. gotta drive xtra slow for things not to break lol (not referring to the video).

Wht did I do to my MSP today... well i beat on it and discovered im running around 9psi and spiking to 11psi with a rock solid 10afr.. Im stil goign to lower it this weekend just for piece of mind I think.

I worked on installing my intake nai in the house since it's cold outside, one of the fittings snapped in two so now I need to figure out how to get that out and get a new fitting. Changed the date of my tune from the 1st to the 8th so I have a little more time to get everything done.

Got my new water neck in today and the 3 way hose. Installed it all, bled the coolant, changed the oil. Cleaned up the engine bay a little. Took it on a nice scenic, backroads drive.
Everythings doing great for now. But alas, it is an MSP, something else will go wrong soon enough. :)

Took a short video on my phone of a little spirited romp through a backwoods highway. Will post soon.

Well maybe it's just me, but your windshield appears that it will soon snap in half lol.

got to enjoy the summer tires on a nice curvy jaunt to the booze store. too bad i have a manifold leak and any time i get on it it sounds like its gonna blow up... the white wheels really grab attention. well worth the effort.

now all i need is a mirror but not looking forward to trying to paint the new one to match. apparently chromax is a perfect match but still skeptical after all the trouble i had making chroma base work. in the next few years ill plan to repaint the whole car with chromax 26S since it has so many chips on.
got my new spray guns at work too. I had my SRI for a couple weeks now but waiting for my iwata rep to get back to me about demoing a supernova, i just said **** it and picked up a SATA Jet 4000 B RP 1.3.

way way way way possibly even more way overkill for wood finishing, but i might redo the teal on my wifes mx3 as half her car needs work with a massive dent just behind the pass door needing pulling.

but before all that. the wheels that came with the summer tires need refinishing so ill probably write up a thread on how i did my racing harts using them. need to get them on the market asap.

Installed my Greddy Turbo Timer, and the aux adaptor for the factory headunit. Still have some settings I want to play with but I have to be up early so I called it quits.

had this posted on the wrong forum last night, but that is what I did yesterday, today, I am hopefully going to finish fixing the caliper, take off the rest of them, get my new injen intake filter on the car, and clean my brother's and then fix the small fuel leak coming out of a little bolt from his custom fuel rail, might be a problem with one of the O-rings on the injectors but not sure, hopefully I can finally fix it, because it's becoming a real PITA,
but anyways I took off my break caliper today, plan on switching all of my red ones over to my brother's msp and using his on mine after I order some orange paint from G2, but first I have to replace the caliper boot thing, I ordered a caliper repair kit, and I know I got the right part number and stuff, but they look a little different, the aftermarket one comes with a little O-ring kind of and the stock one does not, it is a Centric part, http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/se...+Repair+Kit%29 for the front left caliper, I am just about to try sticking it in there to see if it works well and everything, but should I put in the O-ring thing or what? anyone have any ideas about switching these parts out or have used this before, thanks

FUCKKK I need to leave for the track right now and my clutch went out. I replaced the clutch line and now there is NO pedal pressure. It was holding pressure and while bleeding it the clutch lost all pressure and now there is nothing. I have no idea what it is but I have a feeling I won't be driving it for a while.

sounds like a master or a slave. is there fluid leaking somewhere?

I cant find any leaking fluid. There is a tiny bit of fluid on the bottom of the box that all the brake lines go into but i'm not sure if it was there before I did the clutch line. How do I find out which it is?

air pocket in line maybe, just buy a giant bottle of brake fluid, DOT3 i believe, and just keep bleeding it, it usually takes a long time.

you can use/mix any DOT brake fluid, as long as its above 3, and its not 5..because 5 is for race cars only
and did you follow the bleeding procedure? you have to hold the clutch all the way down, crack open the bleeder, use a vacuum bleeder to suck out all the air and s***
then close bleeder, pump up clutch, and repeat until you get a pedal

or just open the valve, push the pedal down all the way, hold it there, and then close the valve, let up on the pedal and then repeat, at least that is what I did, but it takes 2 people.

also, got my brake dust boot thing on finally, but I have been having a lot of trouble getting the piston back in, used a C clamp and tried to pretty much muscle it in there with a lot of pressure, but it didn't budge, I have moved the pistons back before when screwing around with my brakes but they have always had the brake line attached, instead of the piston being completely out, but everything lined up, I even tried to put the piston back in there without the dust boot and no such luck.. it's really getting frustrating,

my next guess would be to connect the brake line and push some brake fluid back into the caliper and then see if I can then push the piston back in.. any suggestions anyone?

just spent about 3 hours sanding and polishing the CF hood. I need a finer finish compound than I have to bring it back to where it should be.

Sale price just went up. lol

go to a ranch and feed store if you have one and purchase one of those big ass syringes that are for horses, fill it with fluid, inject into the bleeder nut
