What have you done to your MSP today?

You don't seem to have any luck with performance shops where you live. Maybe you should move back to the states lol.

Well im not having any issue with my Performance Shop, they got nothing to do with anything. This car is not common here and regular Mazda protege with same engine are extremely rare not to mention im the only one Nation Wide with a MSP.

Yea I understand and that's why nobody else has an MSP in Europe lol. Not to mention one that has more aftermarket parts than OEM.

Lol, well hey that happens to us in the states as well haha.

Topicness: I want to install my hood dampers, but I'm afraid to take out the hood support bolt because I don't have a torque wrench. Is that necessary or will a simple socket wrench do? I don't want the s*** to come loose and fall on my head.

Well apparently I don't have all the parts that I need...

the 2 ball screws for the fenders were not in the package, and it was opened whenever I received it anyway so it must have come out at the factory or some s***. Another delay...god damnit.

3 1/2 months, still no carbon fiber hood on my car, no sympathy here

Mpg in a turbo car .... Lol. Ill look into it when i pick up te wheels today. Was looking at the potenza re760s, fk 452, v12 evo and comparing them to the proxas 4 and extensa hp.

I get mileage thats almost as good as my dad's yaris. the MSP's mileage is part of why I bought it. If you don't care then go for it.. those are the tradeoffs and it sounds like you're OK with em. lol

just got a set of Tein S Techs in the mail today!!! I may put my performance mods on hold for a while and start on the exterior. I think my ride would look sweet with the S Techs along with a DG front lip and WINGLESS!! Then a CF hood, trunk, DG CF mirror covers and hopefully one of the Isport CF roof caps.

i would leave the stock RB's in the rear, unless you're going for the raked look or have illuminas

how would it look with the stock springs in the back and the S Techs up front? I have heard of the S Techs giving the raked look but I haven't seen any good pics of it.

my msp is still bone stock but the milage on it is terrible. ill burn 25-30 bucks per week on this thing just driving to work and back, and some errands. i do get into the turbo a fair bit but its definitely not as good on gas as our mx3 gs even. that v6 sips the stuff.

its not especially bad compared to my old auto p5 though. that thing was pretty bad on the gas too for what it was.
Im sure when i get an afc that will be better.

Might get some 215/40. i can get them for $175 mounted, but balance is $25/tire.
