What have you done to your MSP today?

Yesterday, I had my Exedy stage 1 clutch and JDM lightweight flywheel installed (by the same guy selling the kit I mentioned above). I'm happy so far, but I don't know what it can do yet since I'm still in the break-in period.

Shifting at 3K rpm sucks. :(

Ok WOAH! Hold on a second... before we go guns blazing into my peaceful abode, the wife ALREADY owns the Civic. I wouldn't be selling, just upset that my precious Spicy is sitting. However, it's better that it sits and not gains miles rather than her Civic which is already tipping the scale at 175,XXX + miles. (it's a 98 anyhow)

Get ARP studs / bolts. And don't forget the rings... oh and get a Cometic headgasket....my list could go on.... lol

And that's right. I can shoot your grape from 500 yards away - no scope. So go ahead... buy that civic... see what happens... *evil laugh*

I got the full seal rings, why would I need a cosmetic gasket, whats wrong with the stock gasket, I was just going to pick up one from the dealer. getting the studs and what not, I need the AWR front and rear MM though...

500 yards aint bad... considering the effective range for an M4 for a point taget is 600 meters lol and yeah M68 reflective optic FTMFW!!! lol

lara-i've got a full t3t4 turbo kit for sale, check sig...that goes for anyone else. too.(i might be intersted in a trade for the 28rs also)...

and gi-joe..-the cometic head gasket is a better gasket overall(as most aftermarket parts are).. if you're doing the full build, do it right. also, a thicker gasket can help lower the compression slightly, offering option for more boost.

I didnt know it was a thicker gasket... thats awsome cuz I can only find 8:5 to 1 pistons... I was wanting somewhere aroud 8 to 1 even though that gasket wont get me there it'll help a bit... an I just thought it looked nice lol hense the word cosmetic, I didnt think it would be thicker... thats awsome...

and boostd, if this wasnt my first turbo build I would trade my 28RS in a heart beat for that T3T4, but I'm gonna wait it off till I'm more comferable with a turbo, I've built several motors and a few supercharger motor, but this being my first turbo build, I want to take it easy...

that low of comp... you're going to have a lightswitch turn on and off every time you go in and out of boost... and for the record, its cometic, not cosmetic. lol.. enjoy your build though!!

I'm just gonna go with the 8:5 to 1, I dont want to sacrificeto much torque... the turbo will make up for it but I dont want to snap into boost and set there wheels spinning.

yeah, keeping 8.5:1 will do wonders for the streetability of your car... otherwise off-boost numbers will suck, and in boost numbers will be, as you said, wheelspin. lol

well see this is my daily drive, and theres ways around wheel spin... just gotta get creative at 10 PSI which I am planning on a daily, I'll bump it up when im fealin frisky lol.

yeah, you could tune in a timing retard around when you go into boost normally, our put in some extra fuel to soften the edge, at least coming up through first... if you're banging through the gears, you don't wanna tune that hole in where you'll hit it every time though... but for a DD I don't think I'd wanna go down to 8:1...
