Yes, it's true, I was rear ended. Minor damage as the accident was under 5 mph so it was just a matter of the bumper flexed and the paint cracked. Plus, Shadow102 was kind enough to give me a hand taking it off and getting it to the guy who painted it for me. You can ask Shadow, but there was a s***-ton of orange peel (no pun intended) on the paintjob that it had. Apparently Carfax showed that my car had been in a similar (yet still minor) accident and whoever repainted it the first time was spot on with the color and flake, but missed the class that taught them about wet sanding.
Luckily, she'll be returned onto the car tomorrow afternoon. Going to pick up the cash from the dude today (actually in like 30 mins.).

I am just a lowly user, so my opinion as expressed here is nothing more than exactly that.
the purpose of the forum rules is for buyer protection. Ebay offers the same, and arguably better buyer protection, so I don't see what has been done here as "wrong". if he posted this (properly) in the FS section, all users would see it, and 90% don't care. In this thread every viewer at least has SOME sort of MSP interested and potential to want a unichip... You still have to do the legwork of searching ebay yourself, and the buyer protection is in place there. I don't mean to be a smart ass here or be rethorical, but Nate, what's the problem?

I didn't mean to turn this thread into a debate. This issue has been discussed at length in the past and it's not really up for debate. It's quite simple actually. If you want the exposure that this site provides, then you need to meet some basic requirements. If it's too much for someone to take a picture with a piece of paper, then I can't help them, and frankly that person isn't someone I'd want to buy from.
Yes, ebay has its own protections, and it also provides its own exposure. If someone wants to buy x product on ebay, they know how to search for it there.
Furthermore, posting an item on ebay can not be made into a loophole to excuse a member from meeting the requirements of this site. Auctions can be ended early, side deals can be made via PM. Bottom line, if you want to advertise a sale here, you need to meet our requirements. That's all there is to it.
