What have you done to your MSP today?

yea but scrubbing the damn thing was a pain. all those little angles lol. i managed and put 3 coats of primer, high temp black paint, and clear coat.

the work paid off, i think it looks good.

I know that you wouldn't do it if you thought it looked the slightest bit bad. I know that you are way more anal than I am, and I am pretty anal. I plan to get my windows tinted this summer some time. My girl has been harping about it since I got the car. I think I'm just going to pay someone the 150 or whatever to have it done.

thats a really good price. the last time i got quoted it was 300.00

im actually not that anal. I just try to do my best and take my time. It something that didnt look too hard but we shall see. ill either do a super job or fail miserably.

window tinting is a lot harder than it looks...especially if this is your first time...you gotta be patient and i definitely am not...needless to say i did fail miserably and i had to pay someone to fix my screw up...learning experience though...Good Luck!

I am definately going to give it my best shot. I certainly dont think its easy at all, so hopefully that helps. If i had to cut it myself that would probably sway me toward paying for it. I had it done once by a 'professional' and there was dust and bubbles everywhere. So i told myself if i do get it agian, i want to try it to say either i did it or died trying. if it does come out good first time, i will crown myself as the self-titled best msp modder evAr.

where are you getting it precut from?

snaptint.com. i already have it. they use solarguard which is one of the better brands out there. Its got a lifetime warranty, so say i fudge a window, its only 9$ for the window to get another one.

nice deal if u ask me. i paid 90 shipped WITH the tool kit.

cool...let us know and see how it turns out

i thought u blew the transmission so you were gonna fix it and sell the car?

Oh its still for sale for the right price of course, but the car I was gonna buy once I sold this was sold so Im keeping it for the moment.. Plus the fact that the decisions I make are stupid (ie: trying to make a fwd car faster)..

i have yet to recomend it to someone and them not like it. Sans V3 since they had some issues to be worked out, of course.

Thats cool, I wonder what kind of power gains anybody ever sees from it with a good tune along with basic bolt-ons?
