What have you done to your MSP today?

Why can't there be more girls around like her ^^^^^^^, excited about carbon fiber...
If I even told my girl how much $$$ I've spent on my car, her first reaction would be (boom02) and then (blarf).

Yeah I was kinda saving up picutres for a while for a couple reasons, mainly the wife and I can't find our camera's battery charger so all I have is my phone for now. Secondly, I used the msp to pick up my 7 motor and stripped the back seat completely out, then took out the front passenger seat and used to transport wood, alot of it. I am expanding my deck and picked up all the wood in my car, see pics below. Then the car was just nasty and I still had no sway bar on the car since I had a broken AWR bracket, so I spent some time fixing that and that is where the pics of the car are from and the car was just off the ground before them so I have alot of wheel gap in these pictures. So basically I have been saving pics to post up in here when I had the car back to normal, then Saturday at a Autox school I broke the diff, so now she sits in the driveway and I have been stripping her down after work til dark. I'll have the tranny out hopefully tomorrow, good news is while she is down I can work on the things I have been meaning to get to, like putting my replacement fender on from when my sister backed into me awhile back, intake mani, and thermal spacers. I wish the turbo mani would arrive in the time she is down but I highly doubt that. Here are the rims sorry the pictures aren't really that great, camera phone ftl.

Added a couple pics for fun, car with 2"X6"X16' boards, no wheel gap, my 7 (j-bridgeported 13b hybrid) motor with differnt clutch and flywheel , car going onto wrecker, and broken AWR sway bar mount.

yeah those pics don't at all clarify what I was hoping.. does the bronze/gold look decent on silver?
I am really liking it and get plenty of compliments. Nobody has really said anything negative, only kinda response I got was they would look better if they were a darker bronze, but they look good as is. But I am liking the lighter bronze since it has that polished lip on the inner rim I think it looks really good and when they are rolling they almost look deep dish because of that polished portion. I have video of me on the dyno that I need to format and get online and you can see them in motion.

the inner lip is the best thing ever. definitely get that vid online.. I drool whenever I get to see my wheels in motion. Plus the inner lip doesn't have the unfortunate side effect of making the wheels look tiny like an outer lip almost always does.

More than decent. They look great on the car - the polished inside lip really pulls the silver from the car into it...sweet!

I paid 1.5K for motor, worked tranny, exhaust mani and 3"straight pipe, solid mounts and Racing beat carb cover. I got the motor from a guy in SC on the Grassroots Motorsports forums. It is nice, only like 2k miles since rebuilt, with Mazdatrix carbon seals, lightest rotors, and 12a side housings (makes it the hybrid), it came with a heavy duty clutch, pressure plate and lightened steel flywheel, but the original motor I had had a heavier clutch and lighter aluminum fly wheel so I swapped them out. the tranny has strengthened stationary and planetary gears. Needless to say I am looking forward to having that beast to play with on course. Completely NA we are looking to make in the ball park of 240 hp, I guess that would be good for about 75 ftlbs of torque. lol.

Probably wouldn't have broken my LSD if it was a regular event, but it was the school and I had already put about 22 40-45 second runs on the car. Even if it wouldn't have broken it was bound to happen sometime, I plan on trying to get an original LSD and welding the housing, it is slightly better than the revised one, which if I get one of those i will weld the housing again. Thinking of cryo treating my whole tranny while it is off, but not sure if I want to throw the money.

Damn that sucks that the LSD broke, not suprising though. I need to get out and meet up with you guys sometime soon, just been so busy lately. I'd like to check out the fc when you get it up and running! I am just waiting on the manifold for the msp and then I should be able to make some real power with the new turbo, fuel stuff and tune.

1. Installed stock Radiator Overflow and Bracket
2. Threw Greddy Catch can in dumpster.
3. Installed KrankVents
4. Installed new Silver Silicone Hosing (Thanks to Crossover Auto)

Finally figured out that the car was not eating coolant, and the coolant can worked perfectly, and refilled the radiator like it should upon cool down. No heating up or acting up of any sort. Installed the Krankvents and was pleasantly surprised to find a better idleing, smoother reving, seemingly more powerful engine in my engine bay. And it pushed my oil pressure back up to how it should be. A good day for the 'nanner.
