What have you done to your MSP today?

I've done and have paid people to do quite abit over the winter and last Saturday marked the end of my mods for awhile. I will wash the car tonight and take some pictures.

List of things:

-Clear corner head lights
-polished heat shield
-Samco rad hoses(red)
-Flushed out and replaced coolant at the same time
-Gt spec strut bar(bracket's painted red)
-Dg carbon fiber interior stuff
-Techna fit clutch line (red)
-Techna fit brake lines
-Flush out brake fluid and replaced with some Motul DOT 5.1
-J&S Safeguard installed (Installed by Kooldino)

-Weapon R coolant reservoir...should be ready this week. I brought it to a place to make it a "functional" coolant reservoir and not just a over flow catch can.

Here's a quick shot of my engine...but please not it has never been this dirty. I drove to NJ last week and recently had a snow storm here in Montreal.....so I'm dying to shine everything up tonight.

looks good man. i like the engine bay a lot. the j&s, do you have that running off an ems system? or just the stock ecu?

Thank you...I went nuts with the red theme but that's it though. The engine is the only part I allowed myself to go crazy because I can just close the hood if I get tired of it.

The J&S Safeguard runs between the Mpi tuner and my LX ecu.

i have the same setup
i'll have to get me a j&s. how's the performance of them together?

I did the J&S #1 for the extra precaution since I'm running 10psi on stock internals. #2 to get a few more ponies...which will be determined on the Dyno some time soon. It pulls nice, I'm very happy.

The J&S comfirmed that Dana's street tune was near perfect.....he's got great ears. I woulda been fine without it but I'm still glad I put it in. In the end Dana felt ok to advance timing by 1-2 degree's in some area's just to make it worth my while.

thanks for this man. i've been a long time fan of dana. he's helped me more than anything. and actually got my b**** running. i can't wait till it's in danas hand for the tune and everything. he'll be installing the GB cams at some point. and wha tnot. i'm very happy w/ his service and dedication to everything.
 
sry youve probably answered this before but its not like youve got anything else to talk about with no address and all: should you replace anything involving the valvetrain when installing these cams? not upgrade to aftermarket but is there any OE stuff that should be replaced since youre in the head. things due to normal wear and tear. btw ive got 47k miles on my car.

not to my knowledge.. they're supposed to be drop in w/ no issues. now, if your head has issues beforehand, yes, you need to rework them. but otherwise, they're stock tolerances.w/ different overlap and such. no head work needed.
 
found some used AWR side mount inserts for $20. those will be installed in a few weeks at an install party with some friends.

Just picked up some 2.5" 135deg couplers fo finish installing the new set up. Now I just need to make time to finish the set up. Can't wait!!
 
Alright so I just finished cleaning her up...another shot of the engine...still waiting on the Weapon R coolant reservoir..it'll be ready this week.

lookin good. i think i have the weapon R coolant reservoir. i'm gonna install a custom bracket this week.

i figured w/ all the drama, you saw my name on here and just figured to ask me. it's been answered in the other thread a couple times too.
 
Wasn't today but it is unfortunately still in it, but I used my msp to pick up a my 13b motor and transmission. Took out the back seat and padded and wrapped the heck out of it. Pics of that project coming soon!
 
yesterday i ordered some goodies for my speed.

Unichip, su hotpipe, millenia pcv, su billet rear motor mount. i already have the su billet front motor mount. I was going to get a samco hotpipe but they are backordered for months and i got a deal on the hardpipe.
