What have you done to your MSP today?

I was hesitant about the heaviness of the line as well, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. I'll probably extend it forward a little bit, but not too much further...

yeah, if you make it too thin then it just looks like a regular old pin stripe... gotta keep it unique. but i agree with whoever said that the line should be extended to the back edge of the car or even to the edge of the tail lights.

So, pull it along the length of the car? Someone said bring it to the corner of the headlights and others say bring it back to the taillights. Reason why I probably won't bring it to the corner of the headlight is because I'll have to put some serious droop into the stripe to get it there, at the height relative to the side of the car, I don't think it will look as good as people think. I am going to extend it slightly forward (maybe), but definitely further rear in-line with the taillights.

I think you've got the right idea. Try to follow the natural lines that the car already has...

If you notice, the lower arc of the stripe is identical to the "crease" in the body going from the headlight to the taillight - that wasn't an accident.

^ Which is why I feel like you've got the right idea...

Line it up with tail light and above/behind the headlight.

yeah, i was just talking about the rear in-line with the tail lights. the front looks fine. i agree that if you extend too much forward/downward it will droop and give it a "flaccid" look instead of an "aggressive" look!

Hey guys I need help locating a thread on here....

Someone on here has a issue with their turbo no building boost and thought it was bad and it turned otu to the the flap on the internal wastegate. Who was this??

Anyone care to help? I still can't locate this thread. The guy had the flap on the internal wastegate hitting the housing and not closign fully.

Sorry if this was mentioned, but for the stripes...

What about something like Nismo, where it's broken up into a checkered pattern at the end?

Turned over 100K last night...took her to get emissions tested and the tag renewed today.

Opinions are like ***holes, right? But I'd love to see the photoshop version that "fines" out the line just a little and and follows the car's beltline to the headlight. In other words, right now your stripe follows the beltline perfectly at the rear and across the doors but then appears to run uphill away from the beltline on the front fender. It will have to slope downward a little to follow the beltline toward the headlamp. If it looks flaccid just change the stripe color to Viagra Blue Mica....(laugh)

It's a VERY small amount tho. It needs to be adjusted maybe a few milimeters or somethin...

I think it's an optical illusion, because when I made the template before applying the layer, I followed that crease line to the millimeter. I think it has to do with the hood line coming down at the same time...

If I get the time, I'll try and photoshop the one you're looking for, but it'll have to wait for now...

looks right to me. i think people are getting thrown off by the curved reflection on the front fender and(as you mentioned) the hood line.

That could be what it is... What if you offset one of the 2 lines a little bit more noticeably. I think this may take care of the issue. I think moving the yellow line up ever so slightly towards the front or maybe towards the back instead, may help resolve the issue of illusions... :)
