Honestly I dont have too many appearance mods planned. I like to keep things low key and off the rice radar. I was thinking that I like the Cf look of the hood so much that I might also do the trunk and the CF front lip from DG. Other than that i just plan to tint the windows and I have a pair of CF APR mirrors that I am still debating whether I like them enough to put them on. I was also thinking about powedercoating my racing hart stockers black. I prefer to put most of my cash into the engine if i can.

I hear ya man, keep the outside clean and make it surprising. Shaved wing here draws less attention. IMHO you should do without the APR mirrors, they are kinda ricey.

yeah true, plus I like being able to adjust both of mine with the switch. I thought about taking the wing off, but i like it too much!

just put in my system. 2 pioneer premier 12' subs, premier headunit, premier 3' tweeters, 4 guage power with distrubition block and fuse block, 8 guage ground. stock wires ftw, they are so small no wounder the kenwood amp got so hot. i was thinkin of geting an amp for the stock mids/ highs. any one attempt to give them more power?
i hear ya, i put on different wheels, 5% tint, blacked out tails and blacked housing headlights and you can see the FMIC, that's all i want in appearance, oh and i want the hood, my car is pretty low so i don't think the DG lip would be good for me, i love every thing else on my car too much to change it
i have the stock Excellons in my rear doors running off a memphis amp with the Kickers i have in the front and the pioneers in the very back, the excellons (stockers) are pretty good speakers imo, def sound better using them thru an amp
i have yet to do any real appearance mods, doubt i ever will since all my money goes to making the car faster. couple things i did for really cheap tho were swap tails for regular ones, paint the corners amber, and get amber sidemarkers. ohyea, guess the giant front mount counts as appearance too.

Haha nice. Honestly I never would have even thought about getting a CF hood until I found a couple used ones for cheap....that got the ball rolling and then when another member told me he would give me some cash up front to buy my stock hood(his got f-ed up in a minor accident) if I ended up getting a CF hood that pretty much sealed the deal. So then I started searching and had a couple deals that fell through and then after a 5.5 hour drive from PA to VA (one way!)I had secured my new hood!

I've put 14 miles on it in the past 17 months. Its a sunk asset. There is something wrong with the engine (low oil pressure, heats up a bit on occasion) and I can't sell it because no one will buy it, I can't trade it in because i'll get sued for full disclosure requirements, thus, its a 40k dollar paper weight that I have no time or willingness to commit more money on something that has proven to be one of the most aggravating, unreliable, wastes of large amounts of time and money from my 3rd day of ownership when it blew up and mazda voided my warranty. The MSP is evil.

It was more something *for* the MSP...we finally got the garage cleaned out/tidied up so my car will fit in there. Once we take the donate stuff to the Salvation Army, Rogue's car will fit in there too.
