What have you done to your MSP today?

this has sold it for me...I'm getting this...one day...

I'm waiting a few more days before I can actually recommend it. I want to get some experience with it to really determine its worth.

ProtegeGarage sells it for $170 shipped.
You can pick it up for $5-$10 cheaper elsewhere, but I figured I'd go with a business that supports Mazda enthusiasts.

well i went wingless on the Sunlight Silver MSP a week ago.. i also got my front lip back on the car.. here are some pics of it.. front lip is not on in these pics, too lazy to go take more

--the holes are getting welded up this week (hopefully) and put in primer along with the emblems being shaved
--lowering it will be the next thing i do to it, im tired of the 4x4 MSP

I really respect people's opinions and tastes, but how the hell can you remove such a beautiful part of the Mazdaspeeds,,, in my opinion the Proteges looks so butt naked without the rear wing, don't matter if is the regular ES, 03, 03.5 wing. im trying to understand and still trying to see where is the beauty or reasons to remove the Wing....

maybe going for a stealth/sleeper type look... I know if thats the look their going forthe FMIC kills that.

i liked the wing but IMO i think it looks cleaner without it.. other people have done it so i know im not alone lol.. ive gotten quite a few compliments on it since ive taken it off.. the wingless look on an MSP is a hate/love thing i think, theres no in between from the people i have talked to

--EDIT-- the stock grills are going back on as well so the FMIC wont be really visible unless looking hard

man sorry to say, but there is no way an MSP looks cleaner without the wing, in my opinion the car looks so plain, so basic, and it takes away the uniqueness of these cars. i know your not alone about removing the wing but.. wow i can't believe you guys are taking the wings off... about the sleeper thing, i really give 3 +++++ about my car looking like a sleeper, i rather for them to see there is no joke in here than hiding the beauty of these unique cars... once again, don't jump me on this now. this is just my .02

Check it out, I blacked mica'd out the protege, mazda, and turbo badges too.(glare) The paint came out nice, I was a little worried about the clear because its kinda cheapo, but as you can see not so bad.

tq. i'm lowered on ksport coilovers but they suck . I would like to upgrade to BCs. If you can get your hands on some tein s-tech springs for the front struts and some Goldlines for the rear struts you would have a nice drop., but that could prove to be difficult. Before coilovers I was on Tein stechs and they were fun but the tail end sticks up because of the msp 'specfic' rear struts.

been wingless a long time now and never looked back. I love it. Draws less attention and surprises folks on the road. I liked the 03.5 wing and thought it fit the car, just didn't fit me. But I do agree that the car looks real clean without it.

my fmic is easy as pie to see with the grills on there... so that wont help stealth.. haha
