What have you done to your MSP today?

I was comming to a stop light... THINKING i went into neutral I had actually gone in2 3rd gear and STALLED SO BADLY, my daughter woke up from her deep slumber

Finally got my Medieval ADP today after waiting more than a month. anyone that has this, how do you polish the adp? can i use a basic metal polish and a cloth or is it a bit more to it than that since it comes unfinished.

I finally washed mine, as well. It had been a loooong time, and it was filthy.

NOTE: I highly recommend Turtle Wax ICE car wash soap! This stuff cut right through the worst scuffs, stains, gunk, bugs, and road tar with ease!! I love this stuff!!

Are you a salesman?

Painted my brake calipers black. Ran SeaFoam through my car. I'd have to say that see foam did alot for my car.

^^^ Looks good! I'll be painting mine satin black when I get around to it. I've painted every other trim piece satin black but I've just been too lazy/scared to take off and paint the radio surround.

Thanks :) I thought about satin black, perhaps when you finish yours and take pics I will change my mind but until then I'll stick with this. The console is a pain in the ass to get off, but its worth it.

The console itself is easy enough, the AC controls are the b****. What paint did you use Sandspeed? looks hot in gloss! I finally washed mine as well......................in teh rain. We have droughs here for the last two years so I gotta be careful with the water and getting caught be a couple of water nazis in the neighborhood. the rain let up right as i finished, couldn't be happier and then i went to my night autox and took second in csp with kcbhiw's miata, his car is so set up.

I mixed some leftover mitsubishi metallic black because I didn't have any black mica left. Tomorrow I'm getting a quart of black mica(16W) and re-spraying everything again including a new wingless decklid
congrats on 2nd (cool)

Finally got around to putting on a catless midpipe I had laying around. It's about an inch shorter than the stocker, and pulls the muffler forward, such that the muffler is bumping against a bracket that holds my tow hitch on the car. Power up top like whoa.

Anybody want a tow hitch?

Got the final stainless steel line UNINSTALLED. For everyone out there, I would NOT recommend Russell stainless lines. After two years the protective plastic sheath cracked and the stainless braids were corroded.

I highly recommend everyone who does their own work to purchase these. I had a very stubborn flare nut on my brake line. Regular flare wrench, vise grips, etc failed to work and rounded the flare nut. Using the Irwin vise grips I was able to bust it loose. Those are fricken awesome vise grips.

Oh yeah, yesterday took first place in my class at the local autocross event. I was .5 seconds away from a national level driver in an ITR as well, which make me very happy with my time.

received my atp wastegate today, got it quick, ordered it on wednesday from crossover and got it friday. i shouldn't have any problems installing it with just a customSMIC and corksport exhaust, right? or should i get an afc first?

No, you shouldn't have a problem. I've had mine in for about 2-3 months without any EMS and it's fine.

I think it's something about not knowing how the Unichip will react to the VTCS not actually kicking in. The solenoid is hooked up so the Unichip thinks the VTCS is kicking in when it's supposed to. So what the Unichip decides to do when the VTCS is supposed to close/open and cause the lean/rich conditions and it actually doesn't is the mystery, I think. I guess that's why people tend to wait on installing their Unichips until they get to the dyno-tuning session if they have a P&P'd intake manifold with VTCS removed.

The Unichip and VTCS are not related in any functions. The Unichip does not alter any warm-up settings. Any start up issues are caused soley by the lack of VTCS.

VICS is also not altered by the Unichip. The Unichip is not tuned for an engine using a VICS and VTCS-less intake manifold, nor is the OEM PCM.

ripped the complete top end of that biotch apart yesterday, changing to the head to the pnp that i picked up from the machine shop a cpl weeks ago...
