Changed my fuel screen out yesterday. "tested" it today, no more cutt'n out!

Drove the car today, it still feels like it's going to pop off a charge pipe. I get a wierd noise from the turbo like surging and then it feels like it's duming fuel. I can't wait for the pipes I ordered to get in.

i get a fuel cut when it runs cold. i'm not even punching it, i'm like half throttle and the turbo is spooling nicely and all of a sudden i get a fuel cut.

it only does it when its cold. sometimes it doesn't even do it. but after it warms up its never does it. prolly need a new fuel pump or something.

yah.. as in.. go around a curve... fuel cuts out..... changed fuel screen... doesnt happen any more.. - now to change the O2 sensor and i'll B happy

Whelp, the pile of to-be-installed parts just got bigger. Added a pair of PosiQuiet rear brake pades. The boxes are all sitting there in the corner mocking me.

Edit: Oh, and a new battery is goin' in tomorrow. After having to jump start it twice in recent days, I've finally come to accept that my current battery is dead. Ahwell.

Ha me too. As well as a 626 manifold, and SU rear motor mount. Can't wait to begin driving the car in spring and get it tuned.
