What have you done to your MSP today?

In other news I can't bring myself to parting out the car and I keep pricing out options for a full engine rebuild. FML.

Its almost amazing how many times this question comes up.

MSP - 19mm
AWR - 19mm
AWR - 21.5mm
Progress - 22mm

Figured out my idling problem, kinda. My throttle cable was bent all the wrong way and messing up my idle. It runs fine going down the road now but when I stop my car cuts off, I think it still has something to do with the throttle cable

^ that's what I always thought as well but I'm trying to find the spec sheet that had that information.

EDIT: 20mm

That spec sheet is wrong, the front sway bars are 25mm. Racing beat had tried 27 in the front and 22 in the back (along with the better bushing brackets...) but that never made it into production.

I personally believe that the RHs are some of the best looking oem wheels to ever be put on a car.

I think so too... Even though they are stock, I always catching myself looking back at the msp and thinking, "damn previous owner why couldn't you get the same color when replaced"... But I'm definitely thinking an illusion powder coating will work wonders on these forgotten beauties

So i have highly contemplated about getting new wheels, but i just love the look of a car with the stock wheels stanced... so my plan is to have RH's flush using spacers, and refinishing them this color.. what you guys think of the color

are you a LA lakers fan? because that's what everyone is gonna ask when they see the purple/yellow combo... or maybe "hey do advertise for planet fitness?"

personally not a big fan of that color combo...

on a yellow MSP:

- bronze
- gold
- white
- dark dark gray
- black w/ yellow "time attack" lip
- flat silver
- black

^ would all be better looking options

here's the "dark dark gray" i was talking about -

IIRC, someone did the time attack thing too on a yellow MSP. will try to find that pic.

There is no reason for the front bar to be any bigger. You would have to have a 25-30mm rear bar to help it rotate and would totally defeat the purpose.the stock front MSP bar is plenty when match with any of the other options forthe rear.

Just pointing out that I don't think one has been made for the front not that i want to upgrade it.

Bored at work. I look at my MSP parked in front of the house every day as I'm getting in and out of the 8... That's about it.

My wife opened the garage door to show me my car sitting there with the engine bay almost empty then called it a POS. She also said there is no way i'll ever part it out and that i'll end up rebuilding it either way... she's right.
