What have you done to your MSP today?

Ya, Ive read that also, But its GREDDY/TRUST. And it looks wicked clean. None of the blades look bent or chipped. Spins freely. IMO for the cost of an ITOUCH... yhes please lol
doesnt matter who makes it. Justin blew his turbo cause he didnt cool it. If it has ports for a water cooled system USE IT. If it doesnt (some do not) you cant really worry about it then.

no mention of shaft play.... and their is only one way to test the oil seals as well.

Ya thats why I didnt mention shaft play, I hate when people ask about shaft play. Its a factor but main thing you want to look for is cracked, chipped or burnt blades indicating friction WITH SHAFT PLAY. Small shaft play is ok. Only real way to check the seals is to take it apart. Or run it and see how much oil leaks. My MSP's Garrett has very minimal shaft play, and probably more than this one. Worst comes to worst, this things way cheaper to rebuild than the Garrett, for obvious reasons...

IDK who Justin is, but Ill be pushing 7-10psi and a turbo timer. Hopefully thatll save it a little bit.

Either way, an IPOD TOUCH?!?! lol lmfao ahahah

my lil bro was bored and wanted to make a little vid montage of my MSP

only had like 10 min to spare so this is what we filmed/he came up with

... prob gonna make a legit one in the future

thinking about selling my jic magic FLT-A2's to get a softer coilover. The more i rear these really are a stiff track monster suspension with the inverted monotubes.

How much adjustment do they have? I have Fortuneauto's Ill trade you for cause I want mroe stiff then what I have.

why not? i ran a 28rs @ 10psi for about a year. I'm about to slap on a 2871 and run it with my stock block

Because the FS internals are barely designed to hold the 180 hp it came with, and I can only think of a small handful of cars that ever survived past 225ish whp without popping on stock internals... and yes, that's with a good tune too. If you can do it, more power to you. It will probably work, but not for a very long time.

it proabaly will hold for a long time seeing as i wont be driving my car alot any more. Even when i did drive it daily i didn't get into boost that often. I agree for some people with lead feet this isn't the way to go.

In that case, yeah. Given the number of blown engine stories as of late, I naturally assumed you'd be driving it like an MS3 owner. I'm sure you know what I mean.

lol no if i had a built motor i would proabably romp on it more, but as i don't i like to play it safe with the protege. Main reasoni don't beat on it alot is because with my luck when a rod snaps it would go through the main bearing support plate then out the back into my starter lol. To me driving like a ms3 owner is more or less driving like a srt-4 owner haha
