What have you done to your MSP today?

I'd trade you a full detail for a rear motor mount R&R, if you were not 3 hours north.

Sure thing, if you want to come upto jax! I can knock out a rear motor mount job in roughly an hour. I've only done it 4 or 5 times now. The hardest part for me is just breaking everything loose.

drove the MSP finally yesterday around the neighborhood and down some main streets... seems when i let off the gas and coast in neutral to a stop at a light the rpms stick at about 2300 then finally idles down.. tune im supposing it needs now.. but first step is get my free lifetime alignement done so i dont drive with the steering wheel sideways lol.

AXLE SEAL DONE ... this was my leak lol

Test fitted some Infiniti wheels on yesterday. The center hub on it wasn't quite big enough to fit on my car so unfortunately they wouldn't work. Here's some pics though in the drive way

I think the racing hart's look much better than those infiniti's anyway.
They do but the previous owner of my car spray painted the wheels and they look terrible, I was just going to roll around on these until I gt some money to get some new wheels

why not repaint the rh's?

i remember seeing a solid motor mount that had a M cut out on the actual mount. what brand are these if anyone knows what i'm talking about?

Medival. They were a vendor on here at one point. They are no longer. It is now called Minerva Motorworks or some s***. Some have had good luck with them but there are horror stories from that vendor for various reasons.

cool thanks. i'm gonna eventually go for some solid motor mounts and heard theirs give low vibration in the cabin. anyone have any input? minerva/medival vs say awr 70 duro?

The Mazda didn't crank this morning. Popped the good, looked around. Decided to tap the starter. Cranked right up. Guess it will need a new starter soon.

And I'm not talking about the msp. I'm talking about our forklift at work that's powered by a 4 cyl propane powered Mazda motor. Lol. Thought it was funny that it has the same pop cap as we do oem.

it might give you less vibration til the welds brake and your motor is bouncing around everywhere. I think the only way to get stiffer mounts with out alot of vibration is to go with inserts.

Please show me where the welds broke.. I had then and didnt have any issues. I only diteched them due to vibrations
