What have you done to your MSP today?

sounds about right, let hope it was from my old motor. Im assuming there is some sort of baffling in the stock oil pan.

Must of gut stuck in it. Had to replace block, crank, and windage tray when i blew it.

was really weird driving the car though, havent drove it for like 2 months, been driving my silverado pick up around.

theres actually no baffling in the stock pan lol the chances that that piece stayed in the pan are pretty slim. I just busted one of mine too, if you ever want to look just pull the pan off and look up with a flashlight, you should be able tosee 3 out of the 4 squirters

just curious but is that somethign you can install with the engine in the car and the pan off obviously?

Lol msp....go fast....right

And also I may end up installing my grounding kit today, if it doesnt rain. Also may start some custom thing I've been thinking about doing

And also picked up some more goodies from Scratchnsniff yesterday ....

I fixed my ebrake cable today. I was stupid and didn't put it back on right yesterday when I did my brakes. All better now. I was going to change the tranny fluid but it looks like its going to rain. I guess I'll save that for another day this week.

well, I think the problem with my brother's coolant issue is a small leak in the radiator itself, I found a small little green pool at the bottom of the "Be Cool" radiator that the previous owner had on there, and there are small bubbles comming into the coolant overflow tank when the car is on, and yes I know I will pressure test it soon, just haven't had much time to do much lately, and I am sick on top of work and everything else..

but anyways, my thoughts are that I will just buy a full size rad. for my msp now since my brother doesn't have the money for one yet if the rad. really is gone, and just give him my radiator.. should work all good again after that I hope, just have to double check to make sure that is where the leak is coming from, can't see anywhere else

Does anyone have the stock top radiator hose they don't use anymore? my brother has a different type for his top one and I don't want to buy a whole new set, and I sold mine from my partout a while back, figure I would check around now..

and as far as full size radiators, I definitely am not going to spent the money to replace the one my brother has http://www.summitracing.com/search/Brand/Be-Cool/Part-Type/Radiators/?autoview=ProductName&mbid=701087&gclid=CLCzts-ywqkCFQbe4Aodv0cSPA something like one of those, but full size with 2 slim fans on there with the welded brackets

so I was looking at either the Mishimoto one or the AWR one, not sure why there would be such a difference in prices, I assume better cooling but how much better cooling? is it even worth it???? Anyone?

im sure you could find a way, but it would probably take alot longer then just pulling the engine and pressing them in, i have yet to fix my broken one, but i will as soon as I get some time off

Well the rain held out so I changed my tranny fluid. Wow, it was so black it wasn't even funny and it only had 30k on it. I'm glad I changed it, it was starting to get notchy going into second, but now its as smooth as butter.

I once referred to that lucas stuff as molasses. Sounds like I was spot on. I bet that is why your drained gear oil was black.

painited the blow off and polished the heat shield:
