What have you done to your MSP today?

I do not remember to tell the truth. Next time you pull it in I will pop my head under there and look around. Sounds logical that you could. Hmmmm. But you draw 24 " of vacuum and idle very smooth. I will take a look. I have been working on to many engines recently. Finally back to the mazdas.

Just gave it a wash and put the theory of "a clean car performs better" to the test. Didn't really work for me. Though the warmer temperatures are definitely helping.

Okay anyone have this issue. So im going 75-78mph on the freeway. So i try speeding up, like passing a car up. The Wideband goes to 10.0s. My boost goes to 6.5psi. And my car crawls to 80mph. I dont think the tune is the issue anymore. Im guessing i got some sort of vac leak somewhere. The only issue i could think of is when my car was overheating a few weeks backand i drove it when it was on H. Maybe i melted some gaskets or something. This is weird because whenever im on the freeway and i try speeding up like that my car will hit 90-95+ easy.(dunno)
 
Damn man, we have the same issues! I've tighten all my couplers, checked for vac leaks, etc. One think i've not done was check my plugs. I'll check them this weekend. We have the same mods as well.
 
I didnt today. A few weeks back my car was having overheating issues. I replaced the termostat and now its cool. But since then, my car has been chocking up at WOT.

It could be the weather. It it like cutting out like babababababa at WOT? I think it could be your plugs.
 
^^Thats weird. There has to be something up. Im going to check the engine bay this weekend. Check all the vaccum hoses. The car is getting crazy rich. I wonder if the injectors could be the issue. Hmm. I changed the plugs a while back to the one step colder ones i had siting in the garage. I got the ngk spark plug wires from Sam a few days ago. Ill try replacing them this weekend. Weather could be the issue. But its been nice and sunny lately.

I'm prolly a worse mechanic than you, but from your description I'm not sure the overheating had anything to do with your current problem. How long have you had your wastegate actuator?

^^I flushed the rad out not too long ago. When i replaced ther termostat. As for the WGA i havent replaced it. Im guessing its still the stocker. I got the atp wga and thatll go in when i start the mani swap.

Seems to me a lot of members who reported the same kind of symptoms saw them get better after changing out the WGA (and tightening all their fittings on vac lines and hot/cold pipes). Could be a boost/vac leak that only happens under greater pressure or at higher rpms... just my(2cents)

EDIT: If this problem began after putting in the new plugs you might try putting the stock heat range ones back in, and/or checking to see if the new ones are wet and black... also you may not be gapped correctly.
