What have you done to your MS3 today?

Am in the middle or redoing rear suspension
What a f'n pita the passenger side camber arm upper/inner bolt is to remove and reinstall. Who designed this bracket and the tiny fingers needed to remove to get it out. and why use universal shouldered bolts for all the pivot points?
Small children in Japan put the camber arm in and are the only ones who can get it out. (fuel pump bracket mount cluster) and then they use some special screw for the 3 attachment points.

So i dont mind being the object of humorous derision. So I get the bracket out put the new camber arm in and start bolting up only to find i put the arm in backwards.
Yep darn funny sheet right there. i walked away for a week.
got back in last weekend and only took me an hour to get the top camber bolt out after removing pump and bracket with full sized american man hands that do not fit at all. This was almost as bad as front sway bar upgrade. if it wasnt for the pump it would have been a breeze.
this weekend the other side will take me less than an hour and adding speed bleeders. brake fluid flush is due before startup.
But many many more things to do yet. many many details.. I am finding parts i forgot i bought still.
Please as advice to newbies. "Have a plan ".
At least i am totally familiar with the rear end now and if i had a lift i could zip this stuff off.
Have a friend who has a blown rear strut on his and i will donate mine and then help him replace his very soon. Pass it on people maybe if he is nice he can have my Cobb springs too. i did like them very well.

^^^^Que? Bought the kit used with busted ass pipes, figured get them Powder coated before going in.
jk. I'm sure it will look much better. every time i pull a bracket off or something i clean it up. either sandblast primer or paint or all of those. sometimes the little details add up

Washed her and had to use one of the best inventions ever the Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0 on hard to remove water spots.

Cleaned the MAF this morning.

Lost a hex key socket in the undertray... that's what I get for trying to do anything before coffee...

NEW PLUGS! And an oil change before OCC tomorrow morning. Tstat soon... running warm. As well as a coolant flush.

So I test drove the Koni sports shocks with H&R springs on a twisted backroad and to work. I drove quite aggressively that the rear center armrest flipped down due to heavy braking lol. These shocks are definitely on the soft side. Car wants to be driven smooth around turns. Weight shifting is very prominent. Not as stable and aggressive as I would want it to be. Even when set to max firm. I don't feel comfortable driving hard but they are predictable. On normal driving is where it wins. Which is what I expected as they are made for a comfortable ride with lowering springs installed and is what I do 95% of the time than flying through curves.

Logged 850 miles today. The 44 in Oklahoma is Fast! The flow of traffic was about 95mph for a stretch. Loved it. None of that 55mph crap like in VA. So far over 1500 miles in two days of driving. I had vertebrae injuries in the military, so the fact that i'm still walking tonight is a testament to the front seats in our cars.
Got another 800+ tomorrow to Phoenix. Then I think I will vacuum out the 1 million white dog hairs and garage her for a couple weeks.

Thats a helluva trip, especially with a military-aged back (i have the same problem). My dad and i played drivers seat tagteam going to florida and back one weekend to visit my uncle and grandmother. Just under 2000 miles in a hemi charger

Rolled up 33K on the way home Thursday. Next Thursday will be the end of the fifth year.
