What have you done to your MS3 today?

I went for track duty and they are rough as a daily driver.

Oh by the way. this morning i wrapped my corksport down pipe with Blue header wrap. I must be some kinda cupcake or somethin.
need to order more thermal ties. that divorced pipe is a pain to wrap.
Next install turbo studs on rebuilt ko4

should compliment my Hotchkis swaybar set and Topspeed solid LCA bushings nicely. rest of the bushings looked like they need replacement soon....ugh

going to play with ride height today before i get an alignment


How do you like the solid LCA bushings?
 
spring rates are progressive, i think i have too much preload on them, going to play with it some more today/tomorrow after work

the LCA really helped with slop and wheelhop at autox

got my alignment done today. suspension work is finally complete

looks the part! Hows the ride and handling. get the preload sorted? what are the instructions for yours? did you have any trouble with sway links?

I don't think that's a bad trade either. If I hadn't already decided that I wasn't going to get another FWD car I would consider that as well.
 
Threw on my H&R Springs this weekend and gave her a wash. quickest install so far... Both fronts and rears in 2hrs complete. Just waiting on my SBC rear camber arms to arrive so I can throw those on and get an alignment.

Thank you! Maybe its just me, but seems the front sits a little higher than the back, gap between tire and fender, backs are about even, almost no gap. Is that normal or do they need to settle a little? Will, you have HR's, don't you?
 
2 locals have h&r springs and they have a bit of reverse rake

i raked my coils the right way just to piss them off haha

@eric - preload was sorted out, no instructions, and CS doesnt tell you to reuse the bearing portion of the OEM top hats so that was causing my issues, no problem hooking up the swaybars, tho i do have more preload on the drivers side front than the right, since theres more weight (battery & transmission) on that side it sits lower when the coils are even

went autocrossing this weekend and am pissed off, the suspension feels great, but these Nitto 555s are dogs*** compared to my starspecs

anyone looking for 245/40R18 Nittos? 1k on em, still have the little nubs on the sides lol
 
Yeah that looks exactly like mine. I don't think it's necessarily reverse rake, but rather just looks that way because of the way the fenders are on these cars.
