What have you done to your MS3 today?

My wife now buys me car parts for birthday/Christmas. She tells me, "you can look but can't touch" when I go to strip clubs, it gets me there and what happens in the club stays in the club.

why are your women allowed outside the confines of the kitchen?

getting something i want for my car is like convincing your wife/gf to let you go to a strip club (at least it is for me). They dont see any poiny or value, but i sure as s*** do
Tell her,'A boost gauge is a required monitoring device, which 'beancounters at Mazda ignorantly omitted to save a few dollars. This device is necessary, to maintain the health of my Mazda's technically advanced and complex engine!

Well i had previously told her i needed to change the oil this weekend...then this morning she told me her plans to build a raised garden in our backyard. essentially that means im building it

so, there we go to home depot instead of walmart for oil. my car will add at least another few hundred miles till i try to change the oil next weekend

at least i had an excuse to buy a mitre saw

To be honest. When I had the speed it was the same story. I wanted/"needed" something for the speed but it gets vetoed. Being on the forums and always seeing what others were doing is what light my modding fire. Something are more important. Like your wife's/gf's happiness.

It's as simple as this: this passion was here before my gf was, and will be here after shes gone. I wouldnt be with her if she didnt let me spend my money how i wanted. You earned it. Spend it how you see fit. I dont say s*** to her when she buys clothes and s*** online. I have no right. As long as our bills are payed i couldnt give a s***.

Ive also become very frugal in the latter years since i left the marines and started raising our child. now a couple years later and i want lots of things but am still timid about making the actual purchase. couple that with a wife that handles all the finances and im stuck picking and choosing my purchase battles

its inevitable my next car wont be one that i can throw mods on. at least not until my kid graduates and leaves home and i need another hobby, and probably have enough stable finances for myself and the housing situation goes back to a "sellers market" so i can get divorced

Was driving through a neighborhood yesterday, looked down and saw my check engine light on.The initial nervousness went through me but I pulled over, pulled up the code with the dash hawk, p0401, cleared it and went about my business.

2 things I notice almost immediately:

What looks like a damn good construction on those tires, minimal sidewall flex.

And all the ******* WHEEL GAP! Haven't you bought your suspension yet, dude? lol

1. 245/40 Direzza Star Specs

2. No i have not, stock suspension, im heavily trailbraking in that pic, hence the nose in and severe body roll, even with the sways, because my suspension is shot

Threw this on and then took her for a drive to knock the rust off after sitting for a week. A week of driving a rental Dodge Caravan sure makes me appreciate my baby again.
