What have you done to your MS3 today?

toook a picture of new mods
ETS Tmic, custom painted shroud
cobb turbo inlet
painted valve cover

Looks pretty good

Big get together here in NY today. About 20 cars all getting some maintenance/mods done.

I just did an egr delete, car runs much smoother. No CEL as of yet, when my lazy ass decides to update and reflash my map ill do it.

One of the guys broke the stock pcv valve on another car doing an occ, Impromptu intake manifold removal ensued. My hands are killing me

Hmm I'm definitely going to have to look into the EGR delete.

My ex handing handing over my 9-year old son to me full time is. And so is the snow and the salt that I don't drive my car in. I don't care if anyone calls me a pussy. Keeps my car from rotting away like all the cars here eventually do.

I had the MS3 through 1/2 of this winter and if I can do so, it will never again see winter roads again. The s*** they use on the roads is absolutely horrible. It almost makes me cry. Whaaaa

Finally got around to updating my AP map and reflashed the ECU. Ordered new internals now time to see the difference.

Looking into hpfp upgrades myself. Want to upgrade a few more things but I want to be safe first. stock pump is still at 1600-1700 at WOT all the way to redline but I'm not taking any chances.

put rear spacers on the back and pulled the fenders a hair more...officially running 18x8" +30 all around with 225/40 tire. Square aggressive setups ftw! Just need to dial in the camber a notch or two on the left rear, and I should be rub free.

removed manifold, alternator and tore out factory downpipe! :) TurboXS stealthback install over the weekend

has anyone used vht heat paint on downpipes?

Nice. I can't wait to get a fuel pump or internals and then a downpipe. I picked up a CP-e TIP tonight because it was too good of a deal to pass up. That makes one of 5 things I want to buy for the speed in the next few months. TIP, fuel pump, down pipe, SS brake lines, Brake pads for track.

Ordered partplaza eye lids, sideskirts and a custom rear lip that i am going to make my next project much like i did the STi front lip 2 weeks ago. I am pretty pumped to try it out and I am pretty sure I will be able to make it work. I am hoping to try this out and give us a cheaper, better option for the rear on these cars. I wished 1st gen speeds weren't the bastard child and got left out of the lip kit parties :(

what sideskirts and rear lip are you using from them? I was just searching through their website trying to see how you're going to do it. If they turn out as good as your STi front lip i'll be excited to see pics.

not revealing yet in case it don't work. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up until I get it in and get it fitted. I am feeling pretty confident that we will make it work, but it might take some ingenuity. I will know for sure once I receive it. Regardless, with what I have invisioned...it should be sick.

I, once again, did nothing to mine today. However! I did lift it up and toss in some Motorcraft gear oil in it last night! First impressions? Meh, But I really think it's going to need to be driving through a couple of heat cycles to work itself in.

I found the Motorcraft gear oil to be no improvement over the OEM oil I drained out of my 2007 MS3 a few weeks ago at 162,000 miles. I was hoping it would help the sticky 1-2 shift when cold, but it's actually a tiny bit worse. And now I hear the LSD growl a little every now and then.
