What have you done to your MS3 today?

I've done the led kit too, and its fantastic. a simple and cheap mod that makes the car seem more expensive than it was. even comes with leds for the rear license plate, which look great.

I've been debating it also for a while and I'm glad I got them. Super easy mod that I was able to do in 15 minutes. I was also amazed on how quick I got them, ordered them on Monday and had them on Wednesday. Color is a nice white with a hint of blue, way better than the stock bulbs!

Haven't posted in a while but a few weeks ago I removed the door gaurds and lowered it. Sitting on Bilstein Sports and H&R springs.

Will it go away evenly? I may have made them a bit too dark :-) Thanks for the tip though, back to Wally World tomorrow.

I think its a UV thing. I did a pretty nice job on my tails, and they appear dead stock now

had I known, I could laid on a clear coat while it was masked off
to lazy to redo it particularly when I was not super crazy about the hue of the niteshaydes tint
that trick of blending 3 parts clear to one of black sounds better, but then you need a gun, or pull the tails and take em to a painter ....eetc

for a spot the size of the sidemarker,....shade it up

Installed some interior LED lights that my girlfriend got me for Christmas.

just installed my mugen style visors and my damn tein springs i ordered got lost some where in the process and now have to wait for another week to get some replacement...hope both of them show up and then i'll have an extra set and profit from it.! haha.

I still have my racepipe laying around, exhaust shop wants to charge 50-70 to put it on, and said it will take an hour and half. So I guess whenever I get around to dropping my car off there it will be put on.

I would assume he was quoting me a general time because I am sure he hasnt worked on a ms3 before. If I had a way to jack it up I would do it myself.

you have the in car jack

and a curb

thats all you need

its a total of 12 bolts to wrench, save the cash and do it yourself

get pb blaster before you start

No curb where I am, obviously I could find a place to do it at but I would be worried about wrenching on the bolts while laying underneath the car with the crappy car jack.

Did 3 coats of nite and 2 of clear on the blinkers. Came out super dark, but they still show the blinker when it's on, even in daylight.

Washed the car yesterday and then drove it up to Mount Snow again today...it is covered in salt and dirt again. The neighbor's brother may be bringing me a fender roller for Christmas. Time for Santa to step his game up.

Never EVER get under a car supported only by a jack. I use ramps whenever possible, which is most of the time.

I bought the Craftsman 2-1/4 ton jack and jackstands combo from sears. Works just fine for me. It's available for pretty cheap right now. Just find yourself some wood to drive up on first.

100%
the guy with the locker next to me in 8th grade was under such a rig
did not graduate HS, did not pass go, did not collect $200

a set of rhino ramps is cheap and work fine as long as you are not lowered and run no wider than 235 tires. I have a set I've owned for almost 20 years and they are as good as new. I have to use a piece of wood to get up then though.

Didnt do anything to the ms3, but yesterday i test drove a ct200h. although its nowhere near the performance, it was nearly comparable to the ms3 when going around a country road handling-wise. likely due to the combination F package and sport tires. it was hard to imagine it weighs like 900 lbs more than the speed

btw....my only forseable future car option seems to be a hybrid of some sort. and the ct seems to be the most lateral move from the ms3 at this point (4 door hatch, sporty handling, compact, etc)
