What have you done to your MS3 today?

shopping for some bolt-on wheel spacers... anyone know what the center bore is for our cars? 67.1 ring a bell?

you got it. summit has eibach pro spacers, heard great things about them, over other brands. got some myself, but havent been around to put them on yet

talked to my tuner about adding a cbe with the tune. got the green light, so im picking up a cobb cbe this weekend. install will have to wait tho :X

thanks, i'll check them out. was also looking at some ichibas. they seem respectable. want them for my MX-5s but notice the cavities between the lug holes on the back of the wheels are only 2-3mm deep. would have to shave it down to 5mm+ to make the studs fit...

do i cut or drop the rear subframe to remove my stock cbe........hmmmm someone guide me lol
The rear subframe stays intact. You remove the brace that covers the the center tunnel, unhook the exhaust from the hangars, unbolt the flange at the 2nd cat and cut the exhaust at areas you can access to release it. There are springs on the flange bolts(be careful not to lose them). Use the Sawzall with care. Ramps, jack stands and wood blocks are required, also.

o i know that way. i have access to a lift, i was just wondering how much of a pita it is to pull out the exhaust without cutting it. looking at the manual it doesnt look that bad. but ive been wrong many many many times before.

Vinyl wrapped.. I wasn't sure if I would like it enough to warrant painting it.

Thanks :)

yeah wrapped to. I used the 3-M Di-loc Dry-Carbon "LOOK" vinyl. So its reversible... to an extent. I cant imagine the labor involved in removing this after a few months.

Lara, your car is GORGEOUS. With that said, the roof looks sooooo out of place. i would pull that off and just rock the clean white look :) I think some white rims would set it off, but I doubt you are getting rid of those BBS or the color for that matter. The rear emblem white looks sooo classy.

It is easier if you can cut it. You could waste a lot of time trying to wiggle the exhaust out. I have seen install instructions for systems and they always say to cut it.

I installed an AutoMeter 'Cobalt Series' mechanical boost gauge. It appears to be a lot more accurate, than my former ProSport electric boost gauge.

I disagree. I think those wheels are badass and look better than white would. Keep rockin' the wheels lara!

Thanks. The roof actually matches the wheel color pretty well, as well as the graphite bezels in my headlights... so it'll stay. It would be a real waste of money to remove it.

Also, I have white wheels for winter... after having them last season I got bored. I don't think I'll be going back to white anytime soon. xD

Thanks anyways.
