What have you done to your MS3 today?

I loved my MS3 today. Like, filthy hardcore porn love. I took her on a date to New Hampshire Motor Speedway and ran my first COMSCC event. If you haven't tracked your Speed on a road course, you're cheating yourself. I have new-found appreciation for what a great car the MS3 really is. (I also installed a Cobb TIP and some Carbotech pads yesterday, too.)

I have seen flyers for COMSCC around, do you need any training or instructor time to run the road courses? It looks pretty awesome.

You get paired with an instructor and grouped with other novice drivers. There is a $100 rebate if it's your first time with them, too. COM is a Northeast club but there are others all over the country. PDA in the mid-Atlantic, etc.

hit 29k miles

...and ordered my COBB Knob with a red base!!

Sweet!!! Pictures and review of the knob after you receive it, please.

BTW, I forgot to reply to your pm while I was out of town this weekend, but I love my SU TMIC. Great gains, and it's cool to the touch after driving on it around town. I definitely noticed the increases and it looks great under the hood. They come with a polished finished, whereas the base ETS TMIC comes in a raw finish. Highly recommend it, buddy!

had all my security lugs broken off, replaced them with regular lugs. no damage to the wheels thank god.

I washed my car yesterday for the first time in like... 4-5 weeks. Just in time for the rain today. >_>

no, a certain shop torqued my lugs to 130 ft-lbs and in the process stripped the key AND all the security lugs

I had my wheels rotated and they were torqued way too low: less than 100 miles later 2-3 of the lugs on each front wheel were barely more than finger-tight. Thank god I noticed before a wheel flew off...

shopping for some bolt-on wheel spacers... anyone know what the center bore is for our cars? 67.1 ring a bell?

Started fabricating my own Tow hook front license plate mount. the MK1 is almost there. A few adjustments tommorow and we should be good to go.

where did you order the hose from? ive been using the plain jane hose from advanced auto and last summer I had an issue with them getting soft and starting to kink and had to replace them. I would love a stronger hose especially with it getting progressively hotter out.

sorry for the delayed response - this site is blocked at work. my mechanic is the one who's doing it & i'm going there tomorrow. will let you know the details then.
