What have you done to your MS3 today?

I'm getting a new key programmed...LOL... but I want them to look into my smoking turbo as well. Please pray to the deity of your choice that they give me a new turbo!

I put a lot of miles on mine too. I enjoy driving too much. ODO is currently 70 000km. I bought it new in 07.

I gave my car a quick bath and put it to bed today. It has been sitting, buried under snow up until now.

installed my hks ssqv, recirc hose collapsed under the SRI, didnt realize it......massive compressor surge...I fail

That would have scared the crap out of me. It's odd that it was fine then after stopping for a bit, it started doing it.

I've heard it before, just not on my MS3 lol.

Picture of my car in bed... SSSHHH. It's sleeping.

Yes, same pic as the other thread. I felt bad chatting in this thread, so I had to post something.

I also installed a 34R optima today because my stock battery is toast. Car will be run every 2-3 days for a bit to keep things flowing and happy as well as battery charged.

Threw on my winter tire setup finally!

16x7 Sport Edition F10 +50
205/60/16 General Altimax Arctic tires.

Very pleased with the traction so far. Have even left the traction control off and not had a problem!

Apparently you bought them from tirerack?

Haha ya it's just the mandatory sticker for divisional and national events but I like it. You see other soloists around and they acknowledge it.

Just got back from a trip to Nashville from Tallahassee. Over 1,200 miles traveled and the smoking turbo/PCV issue finally reared its ugly head in the midst of stop-n-go traffic in Birmingham. The Mazda PCV fix can't come soon enough. I had people dirving by me giving me funny looks. How embarassing...

I guess I'll do the band-aid fix and stick some 5W-40 for now.
