What have you done to your MS3 today?

oh yeah? well i installed my magnaflow cbe lol . that last pipe was a b**** to put in though. it sounds sooooooo deep. quieter than the stock w/o 2 resonators but who cares it's a lot deeper and has no drone.
 
i thought i got all the bugs out of this knock off gv lip...ugh...found another hair line crack starting...what i am like wtf about, is that its not even a daily...great quality lip, rofl...

so i started repairing that waiting for resin to dry so i can finish everything up...

How did the FMIC install go?

I'm happy with mine although it was alot of work getting it right. Saved $250 which always makes me happy.

You've got quite a mod list going there. Have you tracked the car? Drag or cross?

what is holding me back is the IC mount. i pm'ed the other guy but he wont respond. u used the pg bracket right? i'll be using the 2 plates in the package but have no clue how to mount it.

also i'm having a bit of trouble getting the pipes/tubes out of the way for the cold side. any advice? thanks.
 
The cold side: Use the small 90 off the BPV tube going down with the L pipe connecting to the J pipe with straight coupler. The radiator hose will be on top of the elbow. I tried under but it still touches, so I figure better on top with heat rising. You will have to bend the little sensor mount flat and the pipe will still contact the back of the fan housing and be very close to the shifter weight. I installed washers between the bolts and the weight to lower it about a 1/4 inch. It's a tight fit but the PG kit is also very tight, as many have posted about.

Hot side: I used the long 90 that they sent me for the turn down by the oil dip stick and used the longer still, cold side pipe off my TMIC to make the connection from the straight pipe going down, to the J pipe. The two 45 couplers they sent were not used.

The kit should come with two long 90's and one short 90.

I have no leaks as my car is holding boost and hauls ass. The kit could and probably should be called a custom kit rather than a Altered Custom kit because it uses only off the shelf parts. I have black pipes with blue couplers and looks great. I plan on powder coating the valve cover black to match the pipes, should look good.
 
I was gonna go with the PG TIP, but my order kept getting delayed. Then I found out how much longer it was gonna take. Canceled the order and purchased a CP-E for cheap :)
 
hammered the pt performance smoke fix in place. it was loose for some reason and my car was smoking. after hammering it in place, ran it a few miles and 0 smoking and no signs of coolant in my exhaust. hope it will stay that way.
 
Boo..my amsoil filter doesnt fit. rubs against the front bumper!

Problem solved... It fits now. I seated the Cobb tube on the TIP more.
