Always love the people who wanna burst bubbles instead of be positive. Thanks though.
I also love people who assume they know more then everyone walking into a room and that no one else does homework. Not trying to be a dick, but you're the type of car guy I try to stay away from. Good luck with your own adventures.
good for you mr mazda329. I agree. Avoid the flame.
Well was loading up my car into the trailer to go to divisionals this weekend.... My mom was driving the car up since it is her trailer and I've never driven into a trailer before. There was a rack across the top the seemed a bit to low for my car but fine for her vette so we decided to go slow to see if we could make it fit. I was at the back and my dad was at the front so we could watch it. Got past the first beam since the antenna bends. Got to the second one and I screamed STOP but my dad said go and was making hand gestures to keep going so my mom went. Pushed down on the antenna and heard a popping noise! Now the antenna can come up in the back a little so it isn't stuck the car all the way around anymore and it dented the roof a tiny bit. Im worried that the antenna won't isn't sealed to the car anymore which would let water in so we will have to get that checked out as well as fix the dent. While I'm at it I'll get them to fix my broken foglight and two door dings.
Hopefully I'll make up for it this weekend with a win...
Damn that sucks man..... Did you have the antenna still screwed in when it was driving up into the trailer?
Ya I did. Forgot it screwed out but it hit too low to matter. Hit on the part it screwed in to.
Had the same thing happen to me, but it was with one of those parking lot arms, i was following a motorcycle and the arm came down too quickly and caught the base of the antenna and put a dent in the roof, good thing I was able to have it paintless dent repaired and all is well now, so you should be fine as well too, also no water leaks before and after the dent was repaired.
Ya its really more emotional damage than anything. It's barely noticeable even up close but its that fact that it could've been avoided. I don't care about my door dings because you can't avoid that, people just don't take care of their or your stuff.
