What have you done to your MS3 today?

just washed and waxed it, word of wisdom - do not wash your car in sub 30 degree weather its absolute HELL

BTW I noticed I have some small rust colored specks all over my rear hatch and behind the wheels on the sides of the car. I am very disappointed, does anybody else have this?

Brake/rail dust= NORMAL...need claybar.

this is normal atmospheric fall-out and remnants of brake dust on your new car that probably shipped via railcar. IT IS NOT RUST PERFORATION. All of us have dealt with this. Claybar in the spring after a nice wash with dish soap will fix this. You're seeing it becasue the water from your wash reacted with the bare ferrous metal particles.

Thanks man, I guess that would explain it. I was afraid all my paint was going to fall off there for a second. The wax job got most of it off, where do I pickup a good claybar?

I installed my TWM shifter Bushings... thanks again Renzo

I put on my RX8 wheels! And spent 30 minutes trying to get my damn gas cap off.

The wheel gap seems slightly more pronounced with the 235/40/18's, but the suspension settled a bit more after this picture. Time for coilovers?

Indy Fogs.

I just successfully did the Independent (Indy) fog light Mod on my Speed 3. I used a nice how-to on another forum. It's easier than I thought it would be and the hardest part is lying on the floorboard with a poor angle at the wiring harnesses. The how-to suggested to remove the glove box if you need to have more room. I would probably do that if I had to do it again.

if the offset was the same it wouldn't look so gappy...

could you send me a pm for the how to? ive been wanting to do this.

What exactly does this "Indy" fog mod do?

It alows you to turn on your fog lights without turning on your headlights. You will still have to have the parking lights on. You can also have the fogs on with the high beams.

This mod is not as beneficial as it was in my last car. I owned a 97 Probe GT with pop up headlights. With the indy fogs you could turn on the parking lights with the fog lights and not have to pop up the headlights if it was getting late or very cloudy. I replaced my stock fogs then with much brighter after market fogs which amounted to a second set of lights they were so bright.

Best part about this mod is that it is free.

casper got the full wash wax and detail today, mequires paste. all by hand this time (went on as easy by hand as it did with the orbital)...pick up the k&n tomorrow, as well as nice dark tint job... picking up the new inverter i plan to install as well...

damn starting finishing my prep job on my lip NM gv lip...thought i was done...then did another fit test and still more work needs to be done...ugh...its almost like they used a jig saw to cut it out of its mold...

My wheelgap has settled quite a bit in the last two days. It looks a lot better now! I'm afraid to drop it as the roads here are awful and we have ridiculously steep railroad crossings. Also, the parking area where my dad lives has such a steep entrance I bottom out even at stock height :\
