What have you done to your MS3 today?

It's odd to me that you mention the tires, but not the wheels. What are they? They look really nice, Rod!!

Oh yeah, they are 17x7 +43 Gram Light 57 Maximum. I got the wheels about 3 weeks after I got the car and put them on stock tires.

On Monday, I had my windows tinted (thanks again for the referral, Swampass). I did 50% all around. I will be driving aboard military installations, and sometimes the MP's take issue with too much tint.

I know it's dirty, but the only nice day this weekend I had free, I spent playing golf...

From the back, lighting not so good.

Today, I installed my Proclip and mount for my Dell Axim X50v. I put it higher than the instructions said, but this way, my Garmin CF Que (which goes into the Compact Flash slot on the top still can see the satellites. I also might still install a Kuda mount for the iPod. http://www.kudausa.com/kuda_mount_and_holder_for_mazda_3_since_2004-24-223.html#

I'm going to test it for a couple of weeks, and if the signal isn't good enough, I am going to get this: http://www.garmin.com/products/garminmobile10/. Also, after I move into my house and have my tools, I am going to install a cigarette lighter jack somewhere behind the console, and clean-up the cord.

Nice i ve just worked on the audio cause i didnt want to mess with it too much or else the dealership would have a reason to void my warrenty but i have a 250/1 JL amp running my 13.5 inch W7 JL sub and a 300/2 JL amp running my 2 boston Z6 speakers

drop off my car to sound innovations in hayward ca....putting some serious beat to my ride....cant ride to get her back....hopefully this friday....crossing my hands

Installed the HKS with Hi Flow cat, WOW is all I can say. Take off is much smoother and it seems to pull a little harder in all gears. I can only imagine what the MS3 feels like.

Well today I floored it in my ms3 and my wife said she almost vomitted, it was awesome. Oh and I just installed the twm shifter bushings. They really improve the feel of the shifter, no more mis-shifts for me.

I had my oil changed at the dealer. It's too cold to do it myself, besides, I won't get my garage or tools until the end of Feb.

I also pulled out the ashtray, and covered the white light with a little taillight fix-it tape. Now I have a useful little cubby with red lighting to match the rest of the interior.

I ain't doing nothing to my car until I am satisfied that my CEL is not coming back. I don't want to play parts switch everytime I go back to the dealer.

I had the same thing when I had an 05 3 Hatch. Everytime I turned around there was a problem.

Cleaned this mess off my Mazda3 today. (Resulted from a 10 minute drive and LOTS of salt on the roads).

I thought it looked quite cool to see salt crystals (3-5mm thick) form all over my car.

i washed my car yesturday and by the time i got home it was white from the salt and s*** on the road....

oh well - at least the old layer of shmutz is gone...

i haven't cleaned the interior for over a month and i think i am gonna be sick soon.

i hate winter - but sliding everywhere and e-brake turns make it all worth while.

What did they do to it to fix it?

Today I yelled at my car and thought seriously about kicking it right in the nads...

why? cuz it threw a damn code... i guess i had this coming since i told another ms3 owner not long ago that i hadn;t had any cel's yet. Obviously the key word there was yet...

At this point I have installed a boost gage, oil pressure gage and a Turbo Timer. The TT is really a multi gage in one. It is an Apexi, and in addition to programmed shut down, it attaches through the O2 sensor and reads out RICH/LEAN for the air/fuel ration, battery voltage and warns of low battery voltage. The TT is a must! It will not allow engine off until temps are lowered to reduce turbo bearing failures.(headbang)
I am now waiting for Mazdaspeed to release PN GRMS-8M-L29 - the Cold Air Intake that boosts HP by about 25! Release due late February and your warantee is not affected if installed by Mazda (about $345 for the unit and $150 for install).(nailbyt)

It's MEET time!! I just gave her the once over outside and the engine compartment. Later, or tomorrow, the inside and the details!!!

MEET in Austin this Sunday!!! It's gonna be a blast!!!!

(look in my sig for the link)

Had a pair of amps installed along with a sub box.. one for the sub and one for the rest of the speakers... sounds nice and looks rather stealthy but Im somewhat ticked at the professional install who:
1. scratched the front fender with belt buckle
2. dented rear fender (oh ever so subtle with tool tray)
3. Nicked the facia on the dashboard below the CD
4. Melted the crap out of 4 gauge cable by running it from left side to right side IN FRONT of the firewall (yea I have a puddle of black plastic on the pipe feeding the intercooler)
and 5. drum roll: I GOT FRIGIN NOISE because they set the gain on the LOC too high....
and if we need even more: rear left/right channels were swapped....

arggg.... needless to say Im going to try and fix the noise issue myself
