What have you done to your MS3 today?

Yes...lessens the rubbery feel of the stock rubber bushings.

You should feel mine now with shifter base bushings, short throw shifter, and lightened shift weight. It feels so mechanical and solid now. Some people won't like it but I love how more manly it feels.... kinda like my Cobras shifter almost!

What is the benefit of the aftermarket shift bushings? Just a more solid shift?

Yes. Shifting feels more direct and stable. The stock shifter was sloppy and "rubbery" feeling. I attribute most of it to the mount, but the bushings took away the softness at the edges of the shift gate.

I've found the vibrations remind me not to lug the engine, which is always a good thing.

I hate that feeling also. It's definitely a nice reminder!

started a new project :)

Wheels came in today. not in as bad of condition as i initially thought so it should be on the car that much faster. gotta take the wheels apart, strip the paint off of the faces, polish, then re-assemble. i might have to replace all of the nuts holding the bolts on. they are pretty rusty. ill be hopefully starting this process tomorrow. ill post some fitment pics when i test fit them tomorrow but for now...

It looks like it's right at grocery cart height :( i guess its one of the cons of removing the molding...fortunately the upside is that it looks SOOOOOOOOOO good without them :)

im having an issue with my HID fogs consistantly igniting. at first i thought i might be because i would leave the fog switch on, so when i turned the headlights on there were 4 ballasts trying to ignite instead of just the 2, which i thought was hogging too much power.

well, even when i switch the fogs on after the headlights sometimes only 1 will ignite. and it's not always the same one either. maybe it would be more consistant if i routed a seperate switch for them straight from the fuse box, im wondering if the fog switch is activated by computer and not so much the a physical switch
