What have you done to your MS3 today?

Ruh-row... Hope you didn't piss 'em off too bad. :D
Oh, they were pissed.
It must have looked epic to passersby with me sandwiched between the two of them looking like the end result of some kind of big chase; But it was really just me cruising along at a comfortable cough-91-cough speed on a traffic-free Sunday morning and the cops having a different view of what is a "comfortable speed".
Play polite and aloof, explain that I'm dreadfully late for an appointment, etc, etc..., apologize, thank them for the ticket and get to where I'm going after making my wallet $290 lighter. All in a day's work.

So that's what our cars look like with REAL fog lights! Mmmm, what did those run you and were they fairly easy to install?

lol thanks man, yeah I love them. definitely lights up the road better. roughly $40, got them from ddmtuning.com

kind of sort of new to the forum. Just got tires replaced with goodyear gt's mounted on OEM. Going to order some hawks...

I also got my belt tension assembly fixed under factory warranty...(belt was making weird noises)....My sway bar end links were also tightened

I also need to get my suspension checked out. All sorts of clunks and bangs when I go over bumps. Damn Edmonton roads!

Welcome to the forum.

Drove it and remembered how everything just feels off when its cold in this car. Shifts aren't as smooth, tranny feels different, noises from all over, seems to run a little different, ect..... Oh summer where art thou?

Yeah, I know that feeling. I reaaaally need to switch over to that motorcraft synthetic trans fluid. I can't stand the 2nd gear grind any longer!

I just switched out for the Motorcraft synthetic a few days ago. IMO, one of the best "bang for the buck" fixes you can do on this car.

Did my first oil change at 2500mi. Was going to change at 1000mi but got lazy. 5w30 Penzoil Platinum Synthetic and a OEM filter. That oil was black as ink lol.

In semi-related news, I'm getting a catch can setup ready.

Would you recommend this on the 2nd gen as well? My car is new and only has 2500mi but whatever I can do to keep things smooth and promote longevity I'm about.

Installed the TRZ rear mount and shifter bushings last weekend. It has completely transformed the car. Worth the added vibrations since it now shifts so cleanly. (2thumbs)

What is the benefit of the aftermarket shift bushings? Just a more solid shift?

scored a set of ptp internals for $150 and made the decision to pull the turbo and bore the wastegate to rid myself of boost creep. now just waiting for weather to get nice to do it.

I've found the vibrations remind me not to lug the engine, which is always a good thing.
