What have you done to your MS3 today?

Took my car out to mingle with a few thousand other cars

IMPORT ALLIANCE 2009, Nashville TN. Super Speedway. 7-24,25

These pics were taken shortly after I got there early in the meet and don't show several big rows on the otherside of the speedway. There were 3 times as many cars later in the day and cars were parking outside the speedway on the access roads and walking a half mile to get in. It looked like a car show outside on the access road. Was a flat awesome meet. There were not very many Mazda's though.

I definitely don't want MAZDASPEED on there at all. Getting rid of that will complete the sleeper look. The Axela badge will go on the left where the current one is, and if I get the MPS decal it will go on the far right like the Euro cars:

Not many will even know what MPS means, which is exactly how I like it.

Don't do both Axela and MPS, either

I also have an S2K and it's the most fun car I've driven. It's been a garage queen since I had family few years back. Deceivingly fast since you don't feel it but when you look at speedo and you see cars getting left behind it's fast. Handles like a gokart but most already know that. Best shifter out there. I've had mine since 02 and has 109k miles on it. Never taken to dealer for any problem. Runs like new even though it was heavily tracked(road courses) first few years. Folks that have sold their S2K's usually buy another based on S2K forum posts.

Installed Cobb AP and tuned stage 2+ TMIC/SF 93 octane, street unit top mount, Rota SVN's 18x8.5" Hyperblack with Muteki Neo-Chrome Lugs, and Auto Exe CF Shift Knob. Damn I am loving my car :) Turbo xs test pipe will be here this week (running turbo xs downpipe into gutted stock midpipe, into racing beat catback with main muffler removed and a 3" angled/burnt tip muffler to replace the dual tips...basically a frankenstein exhaust, but damn it sounds good).

you lucky bish, how did you like the s2k??

Of course I liked it a lot. Always wanted one, but had to get a Speed3 for work related reasons. (4 doors and cargo room) Now I've moved up and no longer need the extra room.

Yes, my Speed3 is a little faster, I knew it would be. But the S has better shift feel, handling, appeal, and the ability to become a monster on less than 10 psi ;) I will be supercharging it soon after getting it, I have the funds saved for just that. Expect a part out thread from me in the near future!

Drove the sh*t out of it yesterday.
I'm really pleased with my Dunlop Direzza Z1's. Launching is great, cornering is phenomenal and wet weather handling is quite impressive.
I'm sure that going to 245 didn't hurt my impressions.

I'm going with the Direzzas if I decide to track my MS3 again. They sound like the hot ticket for someone who wants good dual-purpose tire.

Dibs on the shift boot!

Sorry, the boot will be transfered over to the S2000 :D

Found an '05 for $19,500 with 26k, must go drive that one next.
